I was going to sign the paperwork today to get hired as a student assistant in the composites lab but I need to have my actual social security card so they can make a copy. So it will have to wait a few days. $13 an hour isn't bad for something that is related to my project.

It does crack me up, though, when I see a SS# that is just the person's birthdate: i.e. May 4, 1965 matches up with a SS# of 005-04-1965. And no one questions it. :rolleyes:

I do know my social security number, and it is real, but the problem was they needed the actual card. :)
