Some stuff for Miss Daisy!!

The PO finally came good with the rest of her bits and pieces, he was back from Germany/Switzerland for a couple of weeks and went hunting in his sheds and garage,

Nice eh, he even produced the receipt for most of the stuff, over $1900. SWEEEEEEET!!

Anybody have experience with the Hofco II alarms? The key has a Hofco fob, and I am too scared to touch it!

I've met several people that just don't seem to get how to get out of the hole with a clutch. They seem to either burn up the clutch or wheel hop the rear suspension. I tell them suspension setup is designed for coming out of corners not for leaving a dead stop.

One local PCA guy paid me $100 to spend an hour with him in a local parking lot just practicing roll off. He had a new carrera cab and had burned up the new clutch in after only 2500 miles. Interesting that the local Dealership mechanic had recommended he call me. Basically had him practice rolling off without using the gas to get the feel of the clutch pedal and putting the power down without killing the motor. Helps tremendously.

mate, you are breathing and for some people that probably doesn't mean your 'behaving', but for us here on the thread we believe you, honest!!!!

Rick V 11-04-2012 07:51 AM

Well Beth and I are getting ready to head into town, I might stop behaving then.

GH85Carrera 11-04-2012 08:10 AM

well good on Kimi, I reckon, about time it livened up, really was getting boring with Vettel winning everything!

But I just wish Webber would grow some!!

Rick V 11-04-2012 01:25 PM

Well I was doing very well at behaving until the same woman bashed me for the third time with her buggy.................

Dad just stopped by with his new rifle, and M4 300 blackout, 7.62X39. Interesting round

Porsche-poor 11-04-2012 01:58 PM

No I think she had it coming.

Rick V 11-04-2012 01:59 PM

And she got it

Porsche-poor 11-04-2012 02:09 PM

You bad boy you.
We were at guitar center yesterday and he was playing with pedals. He showed me a flanger. Strange little thing. One other was even weirder.

Whew, busy Sunday for me. After watching the F1 race I headed to the garage. Did an oil change and lube on the Elky. The I replaced the exhaust manifold gaskets on the passenger side of the Elky. The dang exhaust leaks should be fixed now for sure. Then I mowed the back yard! Time to butt sit and watch some TV.

Porsche-poor 11-04-2012 03:48 PM

Just watching football listening to the band.

Rick V 11-04-2012 03:53 PM

Had a great relaxing day, played with the son and his hotrod a little this morning, played with Dads new assault rifle this afternoon and just basically relaxed with Beth. I like days like this.
Oh I also had a meeting with my contractor, that went well

Porsche-poor 11-04-2012 03:58 PM

A great day then.
