I am working on a job for a client that wants aerials of the Oklahoma port. Most folks don't believe one can use a boat to get from the north side of the Tulsa area 600 miles to New Orleans. I would love to have the time and money to take a nice house boat from the Port of Catoosa to the Gulf, around Florida up the inland waterway and over to the Great Lakes, all the way to Canada. I would want a year or so to do it and stop a lot along the way to see the local sites.

Tell me when you fly over the port and I'll wave! Been working at an automotive catalyst plant there since 1974. We used to ship catalysts via barge to the gulf and then via ship to Europe before we built plants overseas.

Jack, you will need a time machine. :)

Our customer wants historical images older than 1978. We have it in 1958, 1973 & 1977. There was nothing but a river in 1958.

My 914 might be in the parking lot in 1977. We are the first site inside the entrance from hwy 266/46th St. N. we have a couple of prints in our hallway of 1974, but it is only our site and doesnt include the Verdigris channel.

So you have been there for 38 years. Wow. I bought a brand new 1974 914 2.0 on September 13th 1974. That was at least a hundred years ago or so.

wow, I don't feel so old now, I was only a couple of years out of high school and couldn't have even contemplated buying a Porsche!

Evening all, glad to see you mostly have all spent a few hours lolling around in a line waiting to vote!

Now for the exciting part, watching the endless drivvile on the TV, the blow by blow counting of who is going to win!

sigh:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(

It'll be another hour or so before I get to stand outside in the cold waiting my turn to vote. Oh joy.

I was just 19 when I bought my 914.

My dad gave me a interest free loan to buy my 1st car, a 1960 VW bug in 1970. I paid for it in 6 months. I saved money and bought a New 1973 Super bug in 1973.

The 914 was $6,750 and the payment was $151 per month. I traded in my paid for 1973 Super Beetle and I got $2,000 for it. I had the 914 paid for in two years. I did not have another car payment until 1991 and that is when I bought my El Camino.

I have had a job since 1971. Sometimes two jobs at once.
