Nine is 61 dog to human. My Golden is 11 or 72 human. She's just starting to get a little white around her eyes, but has slowed down quite a bit. My last golden made 17, that was like 120 to a human.

Morning

Know what your talking about D. My old mate Jack, he's 13, has arthritis, is deaf, half blind, is incontinent, and runs around like a puppy after you give him a bath. You'd swear he has a '5hit eating grin' on his dial. I'm hoping for another winter with him, but this last one was hard on him. Some days he just stayed on his bed all day.

Sorry to hear about Joe's dog. Great pic of Jack, Jeff. :) Here's my 3 1/2 yo (a relative "pup") mini schnauzer, Kiera, who's on duty, keeping a watchful eye on the 964 Garage Queen.

This morning I was feeding our dogs and Zoey was chowing down on he breakfast. He went to the laundry room where we keep the water bowl for the dogs. I heard her yelp which is unusual. I went to investigate and she was just laying there. Something just poped in her back. She could not move her back legs. Mrs Carrera took her to the vet and the prognosis is grim.

She was 15.

That's terrible. Sorry, Glen. :(

"D" Email sent.

nynor 11-14-2012 12:12 PM

email received. i am working on it. i found that i don't even have quicktime installed on my PC. LOL!

Porsche-poor 11-14-2012 12:14 PM

i was forced to......

nynor 11-14-2012 12:29 PM

it looks like the codecs might be proprietary. i'll get it sorted.

Porsche-poor 11-14-2012 12:48 PM

so you are having the same issue? vid works no audio. I might have to pay the $30 to upgrade quicktime to pro and hope it will let me edit them.

nynor 11-14-2012 12:58 PM

vid sort of works (mostly, with artifact), audio is garbled. what model of olympus camera are you using?

Porsche-poor 11-14-2012 01:00 PM

its an ls-20m.

nynor 11-14-2012 01:11 PM

what software did it come with?

Porsche-poor 11-14-2012 01:13 PM

not a thing. for $30 i can get a file viewer from oly..........quicktime works for free. People need to get a clue....

I plugs into the computer and is seen as an external drive no software needed.

nynor 11-14-2012 01:23 PM

i am pretty sure it uses a hardware audio codec that is proprietary, hence the problems. are there options on the camera itself to use different audio/video formats?

i may have a solution..... still researching.

Porsche-poor 11-14-2012 01:30 PM

Not that I can find. Now I am wondering of quicktime pro will edit it either. The only vid options are resolution HD being the highest and from there down. Thing works great for concerts. Shot the band last night for 28 mins. made a 3 gig file sound is great as well as the video.

nynor 11-14-2012 01:44 PM

windows media player = no sound
VLC = garble sound and video artifact
divx player = no problems

interesting.

Porsche-poor 11-14-2012 01:46 PM

Fun huh?

What I really need is an editor for the files. God forbid I have to call Apple....
