Front door sealed for the night. I hope I don't need to go to my cars.

Porsche-poor 01-12-2013 08:03 PM

I'll have to go let the pups out then screw it I'm not going out again.

GH85Carrera 01-12-2013 08:04 PM

It hit 70 degrees yesterday. It was cold today and colder tomorrow.

Just finished cutting down another palm and cleaning up. One more left in the back yard, and I think I'm gunna leave it for another day.

Time for a shower and a snooze.

Outback Porsche 01-12-2013 09:47 PM

Not even the pup can be bothered doing anything today

39*F! It's going to be a cold night.

Noah930 01-12-2013 10:08 PM

Just got back from walking the dog for the night. Chilly, but not horrible. It wasn't too cold for having gelato.

Porsche-poor 01-12-2013 10:24 PM

It is currently 26.8 and falling. The dogs are not happy here.

Noah930 01-12-2013 10:30 PM

Yeah, my short-haired dog isn't much for colder or wetter weather, either. She still loves to go out (as long as it's not raining). But she walks a bit faster, lingers a little less. My cats don't seem to care, though. But they're furrier. And fatter.

Alarick, I ended up changing the oil in the Toyota yesterday and took it in for smog today.

I also ended up dropping the used filter in 12 qts. of used oil. :D Splashed all over the underside of the car and the driveway. :(

Porsche-poor 01-12-2013 10:45 PM

Geeze more car troubles.

slodave 01-12-2013 10:52 PM

I'm done with cars for a while. I do need to change the serpentine in the 'yoter. It's wayyy over due. Cracked all over. Eh, it'll last a few more months. Next year I'll have to start digging into 911 and try to get the emissions down a bit, as well, see if I can get the HC's down on the 'yoter.

Reticulation fixed again

I'm thinking Beer O'clock. Feel like having one with me Dave?

slodave 01-12-2013 11:32 PM

Why not. But it's beer thirty here.

Cheers Mate

Dug a stout out of the fridge. What's your poison today?

slodave 01-12-2013 11:44 PM

Blue Moon. Belgian style wheat ale.

Cheers.

Outback Porsche 01-12-2013 11:57 PM

Looks interesting Dave. I like the Belgian style but don't get much of it out here. I'm off to Perth in a couple of weeks, and they have a venue in the city I've been to before. I may have to visit it again while I'm there.

Here's the menu

I've grabbed a Coopers Stout. I think you can get Coopers over there as they have a brewing agreement with Anchor.

slodave 01-13-2013 12:00 AM

I know a Cooper's hawk swooped down on me yesterday. Caught it out of the corner of my eye and was able to duck in time. :D

I'm not much for stout's these days. That menu looks nice. ;)

We have the same problem with Magpies

slodave 01-13-2013 12:05 AM

I'm familiar with Magpies! They are all around Colorado. Pesky, but fun to watch. The Cooper's hawk has a nice set of talons that the Magpie does not! :D
