And I know it warms up next weekend... Still cold as heck at 7 in the morning.

It's been down to freezing overnight at our western outpost. Almost makes me glad to be here in DC. Almost.

Usually if you put pineapple on something it gets called Hawaiian.

IHOP and Denny's both have burgers with egg on em. Mix ;the egg with the meat before you cook it and it's called meat loaf

I like mixing stuff in the ground beef before grilling it...

Pepper Burgers - chopped peppers, onions, garlic and ground beef.

Ham Burgers - ground ham, ground beef.

Mushroom Burgers - mushrooms, onions, mozzarella cheese, and ground beef.

Hot Link Burgers - ground hot link, ground beef.

Onion Burger - Chopped onions and ground beef

I like making the patties really small and using fresh out of the oven brown and serve dinner rolls for buns. Kinda like sliders, only the idea is fresh baked bread for buns not the size.

Some people on this planet are truly evil, possil's mother is one of those.
The kids have fallen on very hard times and Beth and I are in a bind ourselves and can not help out any further than we do. His mother said she would help them out in the form of a loan which she never followed through with. Now they are being evicted from their apartment, and possil's mother has paid for a u-haul and storage unit up in Pittsburgh so they can move in with her.
Now mind you she hates my daughter and she has a serious "northern attitude" and her motivation is to have the grandkids up there.
She is willing to destroy her son's home and ruin him financially to get what she wants. I just don't get how someone can be that way, even though I have family members like that.
They are going to use the truck she rented to move their stuff back here, until they get back on their feet. I had a nice long talk with possil today which ended by me backhanding him in the throat. When he finally got his breath back I informed him that if he stepped out of line in MY house I would do a whole lot more damage. He got the message (I hope)
It is going to be fun having the grandkids here but I am really not looking forward to my quiet house being disrupted again. Wish me luck

I told Beth that when they move back out we ARE selling the house and buying one much too small for guests.

Luck wished. Hopefully they'll get things sorted quickly, and all too soon you'll be missing seeing the grandkids every day.

We scaled down 12 months ago and we still ended up with a heap of house guests. Hoping for a quiet year this year.

Good luck Rick.

I was sent out in quest for food. Take out Chinese.

My favorite is:

My wife likes Curry Chicken.

One of the employees at the restaurant wrote that for me. It always impresses them for the funny white man to order it.

My wife says that is fresh water shrimp from a particular lake in China.

Well, got the peep on the pre64 Winnie 94 zero'd in. Last target was shot from standing at the 40yd and 1.5" group just left of DCM. Not far enough to justify screwing with the sight anymore

Awww, with that sort of fancy script I was thinking something more exotic than shrimp. Chicken feet or something....in some fancy sauce, from a 1000 yo recipe.

When that restaurant first opened the folks that opened the place lived across the street from me. The restaurant did not provide silverware. Just the chopsticks. Their menu was kinda funny but I could read it to make my choices. They have a great lunch menu and cheap good fresh made food with no MSG.
