That's a helluva price difference, Joe. A total no brainer.

joe, i am curious, what are you trying to accomplish with your new duc?

I'm not 100% sure yet, but carby 900ss headers are as good as FBF, stain tune or Termignoni for the 750ssie when the crossover is opened ...go with a very basic short gp style can off the headers.

I really have an itch to go cafe with this thing

Undoubtedly. :)

I am a master of the DVR. I will catch up just as the end coverage of the race for the night. I can delete 8 hours of the race. I will not get into the details of the race in case anyone else is recording for later viewing. Coverage starts again tomorrow morning at 8:00 and goes to the end of the race.

Jim Richards 01-26-2013 07:58 PM

I haven't been watching any of the race coverage. Too many other things going on. Going to call it a night now. Test my eyelids for light leaks.

Hi Dave. How's NAMM?
It's chilly in these parts! I'min a tshirt and shivering!

Good times! Great industry event.

There is one very lucky 16 year old DRIVING at Daytona. His MOM is a co-driver. It is the first mother - son driving team. They are doing great.

It's not exactly the same part, stock vs aftermarket.

The stock carby 900 headers with very minor modification are right on par with the $$$ aftermarket stuff for the 750ssie

As for cafe...... I'm talking convert the tail to a monster tail and ditch the fairing for an old school bucket headlight.

Noah930 01-26-2013 08:23 PM

Just don't copy the Monster tail raingutter fender. The bike's been made for 20 years and Ducati still can't get the styling of that part right.

HHI944 01-26-2013 08:29 PM

Yeah, I hear ya. There's a reason monster fender eliminator kit sells like popcorn

Porsche-poor 01-26-2013 09:42 PM

Yowzer!

slodave 01-27-2013 01:19 AM

Jeff. I would have! They were 20 footers! Of the booth babes, I have yet to see one this year that is pic worthy.

On another note... I *may* have found a guy that is willing to send me free guitar amp speakers. He reps for Eminence out of Canada. I just hope he remembers me after the booze wears off!

Outback Porsche 01-27-2013 01:41 AM

Nice score there Dave. I hope he remembers for you.

What's their specs? Is it just the speakers or do you get the pretty coloured stuff that holds the smoke too?
