My coworker just picked up this house built in '08 for around 160. Kind of a remote area, but still pretty nice and wouldn't be a terrible commute. Look at Norman Regional Med center as well. It's a new facility and very very nice.

D, wow when you get an idea, you really GET AN IDEA! although why stay somewhere that is just not where you want to be, and where the work is not what suits you, and the housing is not as affordable as somewhere you can be happy and employed for what you are worth, my 2c worth of advice is move now before your boy gets too old to want to move with you! Ask me how I know, sigh. It all just becomes a hassle when they hate you for moving them away from their life!

i know. i am fickle. i am just sick of utah. the stuff in glen's youtube vid checks out and the real estate is much more reasonable there. honestly, we can be happy wherever we are, but utah winters suck, the work environment sucks, the pay sucks, the fact that not being mormon is kick in crotch sucks. i never wanted to come to utah, its just inertia that keeps me here. honestly, i'll probably still be here next winter. however, i do have the kitchen pass to pay for licensing, etc., in oklahoma. i imagine we'd end up renting there for a year or so, then getting a house. it all depends on what we can get for our current POS.
