Yeah thanks but sorry for mistakes I can put in my sentences, I'm not bilingual unfortunately :(

Don't worry about it! We still have to 'splain things to Livi and the Aussies all the time. ;)

In time you will learn how Livi came to be known as Doc Fluffer! ;)

Accentuation is a problem yes and for exemple it's very rare to see english people without any accent even they are in France since 20 or 25 years

But I think the most difficult and for French too is the grammar :(

Yes, Livi is one of the guys who has already posted today, and the aussies was a reference to a few of our posters who are from Australia.

You're doing good so far! We'll help ya out!

aymericv59 11-11-2013 08:21 AM

That's very kind of you ! Thanks a lot !

And I have a question, I don't really understand what is this thread about ?

I just saw people posting the hour and the place they are so I found it fun to post from France :D

porsche4life 11-11-2013 08:57 AM

We are still trying to find out what this tread is about after 100,000 posts! ;)

But it's a fun bunch of Porsche folks talking about pretty much everything!

aymericv59 11-11-2013 09:00 AM

So that's perfect for me :D

Mertnin Fellers. Started with a bang, another 3.2 quake just after 5am local. But sun is out and looks to be shaping up to be a tolerable day.

Ooooooooo!!! A French man! I am a sucker for accents. Ask all the fellas here... Especially Sidney (porsche4life). He wooed me with his southern accent. I took French for two years in high school but want to pick it up again. My father lives in Brussels and I would love to speak to my stepbrother, stepsister, and stepmother in French. Although when we get together, English, French, and Vietnamese, is flying all over the place. :)

I want to go back to Europe next year or the year after to run the Paris marathon or half marathon. My stepsister keeps trying to convince me to to do the London marathon... She lives there.

Anyway, welcome! Now I am thinking about French bread and pate. Yum!!!!

Anyone use Tire Cradles or Flatstoppers. Looks like I won't be driving the GTS long enough at a time to get the tires good and warmed up for a while and don't want to deal with the whole flatspot vibration issues with these brand new tires.

It is another hookey day outside. Clear blue sky and mid 60s temperature. When I went to lunch and did not want to come back. Actually I went to the closest grocery store which is a Whole Foods. I guess a new fashion trend for women is the super tight leotards or body stocking type pants. There were at least 6 ladies there wearing them. I will not complain  As long as they all are young and in great shape like these ladies. :D

I could swing by one a week and drive it to my office for a small fee. I keep offering to drive some of John's many Porsches to keep them exercised but he does not ever call.

Yoga Pants!!!

GH85Carrera 11-11-2013 10:10 AM

Oh, so they have a name besides tights. I presume they mark the price WAY up and call tights yoga pants?

If you go shopping in yoga pants does that make them shopping pants?

RKDinOKC 11-11-2013 10:19 AM

Don't know as the odds are pretty slim that I would ever wear yoga pants let alone go shopping in them.

Are you talking leggings? The trend right now is to wear them with boots.

I wear them. :) With a long sweater or tank. Like in the picture. With cowboy boots or riding boots...

Not the way Richards picture shows...

tweezers74 11-11-2013 10:25 AM

Ok... Except when I am doing yoga or pole. But never when I am just walking around. Long shirt that covers the tush.

GH85Carrera 11-11-2013 10:30 AM

The ladies at the store were all showing their tush. It was very distracting. It took forever to get done buying some fruit. They kept walking down ales that were on the other side of the produce area. :p
