I long ago paid all the bills from my hip replacement surgery. I kept getting one bill from a radiologist for 33 bucks. I had called them months ago and I was told the final bill was some silly amount like $4.35 and I paid that. She said then that was all and the bill was paid. Then for the last two months I get a bill for $33. I figured it was easier to pay the stupid thing than spend several hours on the phone. If it was like Azzy's bill I would fight! ;).

Today they returned the check because my account was already paid in full. WTF! why did they send me a statement with a balance due? When I pay my bills my credit union mails a check if the payees don't accept electronic payment. Now I have a check made out to the radiologist that I need to deposit back into my own checking account. This is analog! I will have personally have to go to credit union and explain to them to put the money back in the account.

Grumble grumble. Stupid analog checks. At least it is a deposit into my account.

I have met you and I have met many arseholes. You sir are not a arsehole. I am an expert! Anyone that feeds me BBQ, home brew beer and sends me off with a BIG bottle of home brew is not a arsehole.

I checked our rain gauge when I got home. We had a inch of rain!!!! That is the most rain we have received since November 11th.

glen, i had a roommate that owed $1.00 to AT&T. how it was exactly that amount, i have no idea. our roommate insisted that he had paid the bill in full. AT&T kept calling the apartment. finally, after the umpteenth time i talked to these donuts, i asked to talk to a supervisor. i asked the supervisor how much the phone call and letters were costing them for that $1.00. the silence on the other end was deafening. he thanked me and we exchanged pleasantries. we didn't have another phone call about that particular bill.

I have been accused of being an *******, but since I am a whole ass the joke is on them. You figure Beth would have learned that by now

I'm not going home tomorrow. The condo were are in is huge! 3 bedrooms, 4 baths, 3 living room areas, 6 flat panel TV's.

Best part... The whole package is $150 a night. This has to be at least 1500 sq ft.

How do mere mortals get that rate? I'd like to go there!
