My daughter did similar at age 3. We played a game called clean it off. It began as a fun game, but after the first hour it stopped being fun. She never drew on anything else ever again.

This second kid is the polar opposite of our first. The first is an angel. We never had to child proofing or anything... He was just good. It's like being a first time parent with him.
