I've got an FFL that does $10 transfers....
Basic cleaning and maintenance on an AR is easy.........Ma Deuce not so much. I saw a guy lose most of his thumb trying to field strip one once. Some parts of the FAL are very user friendly......others are frustrating......

Was a bit sphincter gripping for the oldies when the Axel let go from the spring. All a bit emotional when we finally got to them on Friday ;)

Was able to skull drag it from one trailer to mine with a hand winch. Got the thing on the trailer at about half 10 am, then a six hour drive home.

The trailer was practically brand new - second trip anywhere. They have been talking to the factory already. The whole frame has been twisted slightly, and there is a large rip in a the side wall. The side wall is no longer true and should be replace. The whole suspension has been stressed and It also appears that the chassis may be bent.

They are trying to get a new one sent out here rather than get it repaired.

I'm taking the day off work tomorrow to help dad get it to someone who can liaise with the factory, and hopefully convince them it's a write off.

Haven't seen that one about here. We get Hofbräu here sometimes, and a few others, but generally we miss out on a lot of stuff. Will have to look for it down south one day.

Nope I have a better plan for him, the kind of plan that will cost him customers. When I leave it is going to be lightning fast and with no notice. He doesn't have anybody in the shop that can do the kind of work I do and he has managed to get a good stream of it coming in, so when I leave he will not be able to do the work.

Mum and Dad were a couple of ks past Cadney Park on the Stuart Hwy when the LH leaf Spring decided to part ways with the axle at about 100kph. Bucked and Jumped across the road a bit apparently. Glad it didn't happen while they were in traffic - would have been a very different result.
They got a recovery to Marla and was going to attempt to have it fixed there, but I convinced them it would be better if I came and got it and had someone look at it here.
