Touche but, its also a turn key car. Mine was inteded to be a project and it will be exactly the way I want it in 6-12 months :)..and I'll have the satisfaction of having put the work in.

besdies, it's a 944 god only knows how long it will stay running ;)

Wow nothing like getting pulled over by a local cop claiming that I was overloaded. I asked him why he thought so, and he said because he knows how much toolboxes weigh.
I stepped out of Peggy, starting pulling credentials out of my wallet and told him he has 30 mins to get a D.O.T. man there or I will be charging him with false arrest. I pointed to no D.O.T. numbers on my PRIVATE pick up. .
He started to back pedal and I pulled out my cell phone and called the state police in Richmond. That dude got his ass ripped. Then I demanded his card and called his boss, he got ripped again.
That felt good. I love not being written equipment tickets in Va. They never get beyond the credentials hitting the hood.

sweeeeet! You go girl!!!!

Oh sorry, its you Rick!!!!

azzarule 02-08-2013 08:48 AM

fancy pulling you over on your day off, bloody cheek! You would think with the crappy weather he would have better things to occupy his obviously boring time

Azzy I showed your morning coffee to my daughter and she wants me to remind you that coffee is for waking up and not art work. :)

Unless you have boobies on your cup.

Bewbs are good

GH85Carrera 02-08-2013 09:05 AM

So how close to overloaded were you?

Rick V 02-08-2013 09:08 AM

Oh I was overloaded, with just one box, I had two. Peggy's GVWR is 6,400 and she weighs 5,2something. It really doesn't take much

pete3799 02-08-2013 09:17 AM

You should have seen my brothers little datsun p/u with his Snap-on box in the back.
No way in he!! i'd have dared drive it.

I pumped up my air bags and hauled a load of sod in the Elky a few years ago. It was for sure more than factory specs called for. I only drove 3 miles. I was happy to get it empty and hosed down. Laying sod is not much fun but it beats digging ditches.

Jferr006 02-08-2013 09:21 AM

Its catching up to me that I got up at 4..need a nap.

GH85Carrera 02-08-2013 09:22 AM

I am pretty sure my alarm does not have a 4:00 AM setting.

Jferr006 02-08-2013 09:27 AM

Mine doesn't either..hubs does though and once he woke me up getting ready I heard the rain and couldn't sleep thinking about my leaky sunroof.. Why do I feel like I have told this story already? :)

Rick V 02-08-2013 09:31 AM

My eyes automatically open at 4, just a matter of getting up or closing my eyes and re-snoring

azzarule 02-08-2013 09:32 AM
