have spent a few hours organising a presento for my Petty Officer offsider, he is leaving and going back to Oz, to HMAS Albatross. So the usual presento with picture of the Growler, Growler memorabilia, name plaque, looks good. Taking it to work tomorrow so everyone can sign it.

for the record, azzy, i understand about 90% of that stuff. i have a few friends from ireland, new zealand, england, etc., so i have some experience with the slang.

Remember going to a surround sound demo back in the early 80's. They had music playing as the 10 or so hi-fi heads came in and sat down. The first thing they did was turn off the surround. There was an audible, negative awe from the hi-fi guests. The demonstrator announced they just went awe to an $80,000 stereo system because he turned off the $150 surround processor.

went out for a few drinks with a fair dinkum Aussie Navy wanker, last night, soooo funny, he was such a card, the barmaids at the Ruddy Duck loved him, he had them convinced one of the Aussie girls with us was Kylie Minogue, so he was getting free drinks for her and us, so funny.

yeah yeah it lives, and he is changing channels, didn't want to scare him too much, if I sneak over and steal the remote, he might have woken up with a start and he ain't getting any younger lol

oh and after we had been out, we headed home, and apparently they called round to our house to check out the christmas lights, and he was doing the Rick to our blow up reindeer!! I saw pictures

Watched the show Street Outlaws. Supposed to be about street racing here in OKC. Understand that because of filming they make sure the cops have the race blocked off instead of actually running from them. Makes me wonder if the betting money for the races are coming from the show or out of their pockets.

Now why is it that I get blamed for any transgressions against Christmas decorations?
