Afternoon all.

Had sushi for lunch but no Pole in sight.

Going out for dinner, but since its not until 7.30, hubby would starve to death, so will be feeding him an afternoon snack soon to get him through till 7.30-8.

Just been checking out some of the photo albums on fb for air-cooled cars, some of them are just so cool, some of the 356's, Kombis and Beetles just look great. Wonderful resource for ideas I must say.

Glen, that puppy looks so gorgeous. So no feeding him so he doesn't get any bigger, he looks so cute just the way he is.

Got the targa air born once, it sounded very bad when it landed. My old E36 went air born heading over a bridge in Petersburgh that was a construction zone. I was pissed and driving way too fast. Beth was not happy with me

Hubs doesn't know the specifics of Porsche engines, Rick. I don't think he'd care if someone else took a crack at it.

What are all of you crazy kids getting into tonight?

honestly, as far as minimal effort goes. Put them in front of a kids movie, surrounded by toys and Cheerios. My youngest is 2.5 and he's not happy unless he swimming in a mess of anything.

being a full time live-in Grandpa, (oh yeah that's right its live-in midgets!) ain't easy.

I pray I don't have to do that, having the teenager is bad enough!!

and its too cold to go outside and work on cars atm, to get away.

But it wont be forever, only until your daughter can afford to live on her own! So its going to be a while I think but not much else you can do, really. Family is family. Maybe you could put a tent up in the yard for summer!!! Move out there

on the other hand it is a wonderful opportunity to see your grand children before they become little 5hits, and grow up a bit more, to me under 5s are great little midgets, over 5 they aren't as much fun!

Having dinner with my parents and sister tonight for the New Year.

Gotta get one more coat of paint on a wall in the family room before that, though. We had some electrical work done and there were a couple holes made which have since been patched. The problem is that now that one part of the wall has fresh paint, the other half looks a little tired. So I'm going to wind up repainting the entire wall of 19 linear feet.

Damn. Ran out of blue tape (which has been used for temporary autoX numbers so far).
