Garage
I'm not concerned about driving it just getting the opportunity to work on it so I can drive it in the rain.

I keep my 964 in a parking garage space under a nearby condo building. The condo garages tend to be places where a lot of dust and dirt are circulated and can build up on peoples' cars. To keep that from happening to my car, I use an indoor car cover. I hate to put the cover on over a wet, dirty car, so, I try to drive it nice weather and wash it regularly. When we retire and move into our house (with garage ), I can be more sporty about what weather I drive in.

I need to get motivated and get to tinkering on my 911. I have several little projects. The front hood struts need to be replaced. The left side oil line for the tensioner is seaping, I have the parts, I just gotta get to work on it.

It's really nice outside, and nearly 60 degrees. All that is going to s**t starting this evening. Oh well.

Quick, grab a beer and a big slice of pizza. That feeling will pass.

Just a little rant but: Are federal employees by nature stupid? Or does the culture of federal bureaucracy make them so? Does everything have to be explicitly spelled out for them? Are they too stupid to follow "if...then" logic, even when it's literally written out in front of them? Just dealt with a postal worker and his supervisor. Man are these people sheeple (not necessarily in any political manner, but rather through their complete and total lack of common sense).

From personal experience, the Feds hire lots of stupid. For every competent employee, there are 10 that are.... Not.

I guess I was shocked because every postal worker I've ever come in contact with before has been of at least average intelligence (and frequently smarter than average). But these two really took the cake. Functional illiterates.
