they took a while to warm to The Young Ones, but got it eventually. I think from there perspective we must be weird oldies. At least I got to influence the music they listen to, so I like it too!!

Our Siamese tomcat used to sleep on top of the cabinet TV, mmmm, warmness. I would pet him and then slap the top of the TV, pet then slap, repeating several times with the time between the pet and the TV slap being the same and rhythmical. Then one last time, I would pet him, then wait...just a few seconds...wait for it, then SLAP. He would jump about 3 feet in the air. Every time!
