how to lose my business in as few steps as possible....
1. some how turn off my managed virus protection.
2. tell me you pulled a ticket and will get backto me as soon as possible.
3. business contact sends email telling me that by the end of the month they are canceling the service.
4. tech support takes three hours to figure out that ops we turned it off on accident.
5. tech support has no idea about service change email.

Some where between 2 & 3 we moved it all to another serivce.........

That sound like a simple way to lose some business. Next they need to send a large bill for all that great service.

Porsche-poor 03-12-2013 04:23 PM

I think the boss is going to send them a bill for my time of having to reinstall it all.

Rick V 03-12-2013 04:24 PM

I hope he bills for your overtime as well

The good news is there are other options for email.

well, the 951 is back together. she doesn't have any coolant leaks (knock on wood). she ran sweet and fast!

i'll have to check out the gum cutter.

Jferr006 03-12-2013 05:16 PM

So it was warm enough to have skin exposed?

nynor 03-12-2013 06:01 PM

yep. probably a little under 60F and very sunny. in the shade i was a bit too cool, but the sun felt very nice on my face and neck.

My 944S2 arrived in great shape in an enclosed trailer and above a Bently GT, oh to live the good life. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1363139554.jpg

Cheers Jim.

Still at home suffering. Got a hold of some decongestant today. Hopefully that'll help clear me up.

Rang work this arvo and told them not to bother sending a driver to pick me up tomorrow, I'm gunna use some more of that sick leave I have accrued.

RKDinOKC 03-13-2013 01:15 AM

Well, it's official. Doc says foot is moving backwards because of the cheap gauze they have at the pharmacies. Now I gotta find some of the right kind of gauze AND what's worse, am back to full time staying horizontal, arrrgh. Think I am going to have to stock up on sleeping pills and pain killers and knock myself out for a week or two.

Glen, really enjoyed getting out for lunch today, looks like it will be a while before I can get out again.

Long before I used up my sick leave I went on short term disability.

RKDinOKC 03-13-2013 01:19 AM

On the brighter side, guy is coming by tomorrow evening to wash all the dust off the 928.

Outback Porsche 03-13-2013 01:22 AM

That's no good Richard. I hope they get on top of it quickly for you.

I'm not sure, but I don't think disability covers manflu. I've got somewhere around 900hrs of sick leave that will never get paid out.

RKDinOKC 03-13-2013 01:43 AM

Way back when my Dad retired he got to cash in both his accrued sick leave and vacation time. That was back when good companies offered great health care with no copay, and it was NOT an entitlement.

Rick V 03-13-2013 01:55 AM

Morning Y'all.
Sorry to hear about the setback Richard, I can't imagine

Outback Porsche 03-13-2013 01:59 AM

Morning Rick

Jim Richards 03-13-2013 02:00 AM

Yeah, sorry that the foot's healing so slow.
