Leaving Monday morning for 10 days.

Cheers Azzy. We're heading off early next week too, but flying/not driving and camping at a Novotel this time. ;)

You have a fun trip too.

Goodnight folks. More heavy rain for tonight. Sid's parents are getting rained on now. It is supposed to get heavy at 3:00 am.

Morning doc!

Just great. Passenger side window stopped working on the GTS. Opened and closed the door several times and now it works again. Just hate taking door cards off, it's on the list now.

I'm a pancake guy, myself. Blueberry pancakes or mango pancakes sounds wonderful to me.

It's been a while but I can do a pretty good Crepe Suzette with a yummy Cointreau sauce.

Outback Porsche 07-26-2013 03:49 AM

Ooh, ooh, thanks for the inspiration Jim. I'm fishing the Cointreau out of the freezer as I type. Cointreau on the rocks and off to bed. :)

Good Friday morning folks.

We got just over 1.2 inches of rain last night. We are already ahead of the normal rainfall for a year. No one is complaining. Just a few months ago we were at the worst stages of a drought. Some parts of the state are still very dry. There is a decent size lake built in NW Oklahoma that was built as a water reservoir. Oklahoma City owns the water. We opened the dam and sucked the water downstream to fill a local water supply lake. Then the rains started in the metro area. All the lakes are at flood stages, water is being released in massive amounts to prevent flooding. Only NW Oklahoma is still dry. That lake is almost empty. Too bad gravity prevents us from sending back the water.

Hey, D. I ordered the computer system. It should be a screamer. My old system is 9 years old or so. No doubt it is total overkill for reading email and Quicken reports. More power! Arf Arf Arf.

The lights may dim when I crank it up. For so long a 200 watt power supply was the standard. Now I will have a 630 Watt power supply. That should be enough. ;)

For those that are curious this will be my new total overkill email reader for my house.

Glen... My folks got 3.9" last night.... I doubt that will bring the local lake anywhere near where it should be. But it's certainly a nice start

RKDinOKC 07-26-2013 10:24 AM

still rainy outside here. inside, cool and dry as usual.
