After brekkie we started watching the F1 qualifying in Melbourne which we had taped earlier in the morning hours.

Only to find that it had been rained out, bummer. Have to see if NBC is going to show the postponed qualifying time.

Now watching Brumbies playing the Sharks, Rugby, for those who don't know.

Also just watched Wales flog the Poms, woohoo!!!

you have probably realised that I am having a relaxed day, well after the 5 mile walk this morning I thought I should not overdo it, I am getting older!!!!

Went to a friends house and sighted in the new glass on top of the 5.56, can you say tack driver? I was making "smily faces" in pie plates at one hundred meters.
Now all hell has broken lose and we are having a thunderstorm

Got up had breakfast, read the news (online), had a slice of leftover pizza (lunch) and went back to bed and took a nap. Ready for dinner now.

Looking for optics for mine. What do you have on your spoon?

I just put a Bushnell Banner 3X9 (designed for dusk and dawn.) Mine being a carbine it won't shoot any more than a 3X9. I'm digging the Mil-Dot though, really helps beyond the 100 meter mark

Thanks! yep...zombies farther than 100 meters are not worth wasting ammo on.

Rick V 03-16-2013 02:44 PM

Well if I ever get the scratch to get the Barrett 98B in 338LM I'll take care of the zombies that are a mile+ out. :D

Morning all.

Q1 was very entertaining in the rain. Q2 is due to start at 11am Melbourne time (in about an hour and a quarter).

I like Albert Park, I've driven the circuit a few times but I've only been to the Oz GP there once. Every year both Sharyn and I say to each other that we must go again.

A photo of the track area a couple of years ago (from the Eureka Skydeck) 297 meters up (975ft)

I couldn't sleep, so ended up watching it. They honestly could of run it if they hadn't taken the really long brake. From Q1, the car's cleaned the track up themselves with their high downforce body work vacuuming the track and leaving a dry line behind them. Ah well.

Stijn!!

I have escaped the AT&T confinement. My dad had a iPhone 4s and a land line and a DSL connection. His bill was just under 190 per month, for just one person. I moved his cell phone number to my old Sony phone and stopped all data so it is now just 10 bucks a month. His iPhone 4s was swapped with my wife's iPhone 4. Then we modified the land line to get it as cheap as possible. It only took a few hours to get done.

Outback Porsche 03-16-2013 05:22 PM

Q2 done. I won't spoil it for you Glen in case you haven't seen it yet, but it was entertaining again. ;)

The F1 race is set to record on the DVR. We will record the race as well. Thanks for not spoiling it.

I'm worn out. Being a pansy-assed city sissy boy leaves me woefully unprepared for physical labor. Of course, that's just too bad for me. Time for me to suck it up. :p

I would have thought you'd be staying up for it. It'd be starting at about half 12 for you, yes? That's not too late for a party animal like yourself. :D

Porsche-poor 03-16-2013 06:15 PM

Yawn. Had lots to do today but the migraine fairy came instead.

Outback Porsche 03-16-2013 06:52 PM

I'm really not enjoying this manflu. :( I thought I was getting better....wrong!

Sharyn's battling with it too now.
