Morning Y'all. This morning is court to dismiss the custody request for the grandkids. Our letter to the court, as directed was not enough for the judge.
I am having an extra cup of snarky this morning in preparation.

Jeff that is a funny looking stadium. So they play cricket there. Are they some sort of mutant Australian marsupial crickets the men ride around on?

After talking to Azzy last weekend I am never going to Australia. The critters there will kill you, and not just the snakes and by law you are not allowed to kill them back. Yeah, I wouldn't last long as a free man there.

Something to do with commemorating the inter-galactic cricket wars. Where combatants would throw hand grenades at each other and fend them off with bats. Apparently Earth is the shame of all the galaxies as we're the only sick bastards that celebrate that dark period of human existence by commemorating it with a game. Not much happens through a match and most people fall asleep with boredom.

That soulds like baseball. After 5 hours of game time there was 10 minutes of action. Uness you think spitting and scratching nuts is action.

We are going to the G on Saturday to watch a game of Aussie Rules Football (very similar to Gaelic Football), but not before we watch a game on Friday evening at a different stadium. This one on Friday will be indoors and it'll be extra fun because the team we barrack (root) for will be playing. This is where I turn into a bogan for a few hours. :D

The game on Saturday will be purely entertainment, not like the life or death event at tomorrows game. :D

All that yelling and screaming and drinking over a bunch of men playing with a ball. ;)

They sexied cricket up about thirty years ago with a one day limited overs game as apposed to a five day test match (still played and I'm watching a test match on the tele with Oz batting against the poms in england at the moment), and more recently another spin-off shorter game called 20/20. These shorter matches are more entertaining to watch.
