I only talk politics or religion when I'm in the mood, and only if those I discuss are in the mood. Otherwise, it's hugely annoying.

I never talk about installing built-in microwaves. There's no one on the planet that I'm close enough to to ever want to discuss that topic. ;)

The old boss just dropped by the office. He is starting to look a little old. He was looking for one of the pictures of Downtown OKC that he shot in 1951. By pure coincidence I had printed a copy of it for a customer last week. Since I had 40 inch paper on the printer and the customer wanted a 16x20 I just printed an extra.

Talk about perfect timing.

He looks great for someone 97 years old.

nynor 12-06-2012 01:24 PM

good lord. 97? did he drive himself to your office?

Oh yea, he drives everywhere.

He had his pilots license until he was 92. He olny let it lapse because he sold his personal airplane. He does not need to take any prescription medication.

A friend just sent me this pic at our office Christmas party last Saturday. I must of had a good night. Got around to hanging some Christmas decorations - couldn't find any mistletoe, substitute those glitter ball thingos :D

Explains why I was a little hung over last Sunday

wow. my grandfather drove his pickup truck until the day he died. he was ~88 and couldn't see worth a damn. i rolled up to his farm one afternoon, unannounced, and heard a bunch of gunfire (.22). i found him with a treed raccoon at the top of a light pole. he saw me coming, handed me the rifle, and said, "shoot that damn thing. i can't see it." i just about fell over laughing. i took care of the raccoon.
