Morning Rick. We went to the tidal basin this AM to see the cherry blossoms. Too soon for them this year. IMO, next weekend will be much better.

No cherry trees around here but we have a lot of Bradford Pear trees. The booms STINK and are a big mess. They pile up in in drifts with the wind.

I have stuff that stinks and piles up in drifts too.

The blooms are almost all down, now it the the stems of the blooms falling.

That's Awesome!!!! I woke up this morning to fresh snow falling on top of the existing four feet of the white stuff........We have had snow here since Oct 23rd....
Next year I might invest in snow tires for the SC!!!!!!(and lots of car washes!!!)

Well after Beth let all the flower beds go for the last couple of yours, Rickie spent the morning with power equipment removing all the bushes and volunteer trees, then ran the tractor through them, and finished it all off by raining down chemical death.
Then I became rather reserved and cut the grass.

The cool part about yard work is instant gratification.

Morning all. I slept in way to late.

Gardening for us for the next two and a half years, consists of watching the mower guy mow the lawn, and tending the two giant pots I bought yesterday that have tomato plants and strawberries with a few white petunias, in them.

azzarule 04-07-2013 12:22 PM

would rather just sit on the terrace in the sun/shade, depending on the heat factor, and just watch the lawn grow with a vino in hand, or beer, again depending on the heat factor!!!

pete3799 04-07-2013 12:31 PM
