Good night everybody!

slodave 03-01-2010 01:24 AM

It's too late for that.

Man, I meant to give you a call...

Rick V 03-01-2010 03:54 AM

interesting perspective. When you are driving a full size truck and you see deer on the side of the road, no biggie. However when you are in small car, they look HUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE.

GH85Carrera 03-01-2010 05:59 AM

Yep. I saw a doe chased by a buck run across the road just behind my 911. The first thing I saw was the buck's huge rack. I looked again and saw the doe just disappear into the woods with that buck close behind. I figure I got lucky, I could have hit two deer in one whack. They were just a few feet behind me.

Oh, and good Monday morning guys!

porsche4life 03-01-2010 06:23 AM

You guys can have monday morning back..... I wish to take no part in it... In fact I wish to take no part in the next two days... they don't look pretty...

svandamme 03-01-2010 07:06 AM

back , i was pretty accurate with my estimate... 2h15 minutes... some flashing lights were observed....

RKDinOKC 03-01-2010 07:18 AM

Saw a doe sittin on the curb the other day back when I drove to work. She didn't have a cardboard sign and wasn't wearing fishnets so figured she wasn't a hitchhiker, pan handler, or prostitute and kept on going.

You got flashed again????
I'm guessing the popo has your 2.8SS already assembled.... Since all you money seems to be going their way...... A few more times and they'll be calling me to buy my 7" and 8"s...

svandamme 03-01-2010 08:16 AM

i saw the fuzz 3 times, only saw the flashing thingie once... on the car in front of me :D

last 3 times i saw the flashing thingie in my own rear view mirror... only one arrived...
not all flashing thingies make for a love letter from the popo... depends on how close the the lower limit you got tagged, and if it's worth their while or not

"Joined the working world" not working out for you? No worries, in ~ 40 years you can go back to a life of leisure. :p

svandamme 03-01-2010 10:08 AM

40 years?? hah, by the time he's 60, they'll have raised the retirement age to 70!

Schumi 03-01-2010 10:28 AM

So I gave a test today that I thought was really easy.... my students seemed to think not.

Jim... I don't start work till wednesday... its class that I hate so much... Ugh...

Schumi I HATE it when instructors do that....

Guys... Knock some sense into me... Looking at a 2002.... Wondering if I can buy it cheap enough to make a quick buck...

Schumi 03-01-2010 10:44 AM

I know it wasn't too hard because there were good students who finished the test within 20 minutes and were out the door.

Too many of them are obviously not taking the class seriously enough. I can't believe how many younger students come to this school and immediately blow off their freshman year classes, and end up getting C's or worse. Those are the easy classes; they should be paying attention and getting those easy A's while they can... that's what I did.

The classes I teach are the bottom of the barrel engineering courses. The stuff that, if you don't get it, you are in the wrong degree. It's that simple.
