See over here there is a serious price difference.... Toyotas are high... german cars are uber high.... Except VW.... but uhh.....

Lol, I drive a VW (Golf MK V) I like it, sport chassis, sport seats, what's not to like. (its a company car BTW)

German cars tend to be not the cheapest, it is the same here, I guess the image of German solid engineering and high re-sale prices keep it that way.

That's probably what they did at the first sign of the financial/world "crisis" , and what brought on this whole "predicament' in the first place.

On the news they said RAV 4's from 2000 are being recalled, that was way before the crisis.
Either way, I don't own a Toyota, so I don't really have to care or be bothered... :D

Don't get me wrong.... I LOVE driving VWs... Just forget working on the damned things....

Company car, I even go to the garage to get the screenwash refilled.
Not my car, so I do not work on it.
I prefer to put my time in the P-car.

I'd be back in VW tomorrow if I had a gig like that... Mmm... Jetta TDI cup....
