morning everyone.... frustrating night. Getting ready to call Tony and break the news to him. I'm sure he isn't going to be happy. The guy strives for customer satisfaction.

I did plug the numbers into excel this morning and it turns out that it is linear.

GH85Carrera 05-16-2013 05:51 AM

Good morning folks.

This busy work schedule sure makes the day fly by. I am back to working on the 5x12 foot print job. It is an area covering 1 mile wide and 2.25 miles tall. Every building or property that has certain services or ownership relates to a table. I add vector graphics to each property that related to that table. The background image is super high resolution mosaic from 30 frames of photography. The final image is 7.8 GIG.

About the time I get one version done they have updates and changes. Things change and I spend more time changing the changes. They understand each revision is costing them money.

The program I am using was designed by a drunk blond (insert stupid ethnic group) insane person with no logic. This program makes AutoCAD look user friendly. Ah well if it was easy everybody could do it, and they would not need us.

On a side note, has any one of the 911 guys on here have a squeaky heater blower. The one mounted in the engine compartment to assist will sitting idle.

Porsche-poor 05-16-2013 06:34 AM

Morning all.

Those fans are not great. You can take it apart and oil it. That will work for a short while. You will need to replace it to cure it. Why are you using a heater in May?

That same basic motor is used in the fresh air blower, the front AC condenser and the heater. Mine have all been replaced at least once. Your car is over 30 years old. Motors get old and tired from lack of oil.

Andy911sc 05-16-2013 07:27 AM

We had a cold snap and Monday morning it was 35 out. But the air still circulates up through the blower when the heat is shut off causing it to squeak for a quick second at the beginning of a rev or throttle. It gives me perfect justification to the future wifey to backdate the heating, but for now I will just remove the fan shroud and keep everthing else hooked up so the air goes through properly and doesn't dump out on the top side of my engine.

RKDinOKC 05-16-2013 07:33 AM

Entering the period of being on pain killers where I can't sleep.

Don't you classic 911 guys just crack the sun roof to draw air through the exchangers and into the cabin?

GH85Carrera 05-16-2013 07:40 AM

That does not work the engine is in the back and the air has to be pumped to the cabin. Them funny Porsches with water and engine in the wrong place might do it, but not a 911.
