Yea, I can see it is a cab on my computer. I posted that originally from my phone and all I could see was the black roof.

I just want that type of lift. While doing part of my recent project I got my 911 in the air. It is a REAL PAIN in the butt to get a 911 jacked up with no engine in the car. It is not fun with an engine in place. It takes a long time to get all 4 wheels up in the air to swap out the brake fluid. I bet I spent an hour just jacking the car up and down.

The good news is a drove my 911 to the office today! It is done baby done. Now I have a full week to drive it and test it before my big road trip.

There is a guy that makes some bars that make putting a 928 on stands a lot easier and more stable. He calls them Lift Bars. Here is a shot of me working on the clutch using them...

The jack stand placement is no big deal for my 911. It is the jacking the car up to get 4 jack stands in position that takes forever.

One of the biggest challenges is there are no real jack points under the car except the single point on each side with a jack pad.

Morning all. That would be the one thing I have not tried yet. All four off the ground at the same time.

I do it all the time. It just takes a while and 4 good jack stands.

Same with the 928, one jack point on each side. i was skeptical at first for the same reason, but it did make it easier and quicker.

One of the MANY differences between men and women. Baby clothes, especially for baby girls.

My wife drug me to go shopping for a grand niece. They have garter belts that are for the kid's HEAD!. Little dresses that cost more than my jeans! Mom puts the kid in the little dress once, taks a picture to send to the person that bought the dress and then the kid lives in just a diaper 98% of the time. No baby girl ever wore out a dress.

Get off my lawn.

Hrumpf Hrumpf Hrumpf.

someone talk me out of this shotgun:

Browning Silver Hunter 12 Gauge | Utah Gun Classifieds

i was set on an over/under, but this beauty is causing me to second guess. plus, after i pay tax and fees, they will be nearly identical in cost.

I prefer my Remington 870 express for field work. Matte finish no fancy stock. Yes its a pump but fewer moving parts.

Indeed it's Hump Day!

On another note. Thanks everyone for the support and voting for my fiance and I in that competition. Unfortunately we did not win grand prize. We got first for the voting round, but during the judging round they decided to pick the 2nd place couple.

an 870 is definitely a possibility. it is a very respectable and field tested shotgun, for sure.

Again.... I will never talk you out of buying a spoon, especially a browning.

i only get to buy a shotgun once, for a very long time, and i need it to function well for the intended purpose, so i am researching and getting opinions.

i should probably get the 870 express or wingmaster and be done with it.

The 870 comes in several grades the express that I have and the wingmaster. I jsut like the dull finish and the matte stock not all shinny like it belongs in a gun case not being used.

trust me, i have no compunction regarding using a tool for its intended purpose. i want a nice shotgun and i will use it in the field. taken care of properly, even a shiny blued gun and beautiful stock will last forever. when i sold my browning hi-power, it had several thousand rounds through it, yet it looked new. the only marks on it were from the crappy plastic case it was sold with.

just my two cents. I used to hunt in some ruff country so a pretty gun didn't last long.
