Time for bed for us.

The single din units with the pop out/up screens block the HVAC controls and more importantly AC vents. try to move them down and hit them with your hand shifting gears. So, they are a no-go. Have seen modified consoles where they HVAC controls are moved dow where a clock and rear air controls are so a double din fits. Hacks up the console pretty much so guys that do this usually get another console from the junk yard so they can put it back stock or at least offer the parts to when they sell the car. Have not heard of anyone actually putting it back stock though.

You might need to cross bow rig to retrieve the pond jumper. I have a bow and arrow fishing rig for my longbow. Haven't used it since I was a boy sprout on a 50 mile hike. Was armed to the teeth for a boy sprout with both the longbow AND a 22 rifle.

RC club has a saturday cross country fly event were you take off from the flying field and fly your plane to another flying filed 20 miles away. Most put lazy boy recliners in the back of pickup trucks. One guy drives the other flys. Very fun stuff.

Watching the sun rise at the end of a night out partying was always a good thing for me. Very soothing and spirtually uplifting. Usually from a roof top somewhere just me and my date. The most memorable was from a pickup cab over camper at the local city lake watchin the sun rise over the lake.

Good luck sleeping tonight guys! ;)

Snakes can open doors, good luck sleeping tonight (video) | Death and Taxes

RKDinOKC 06-19-2013 11:07 PM

If that snake had actually opened the door all by itself, they would have filmed it from the other side of the door. Awful east to have a helper on the other side of the door.

I ain't afeareded a no snakes.

The boogie man, that's a whole different story.

RKDinOKC 06-19-2013 11:19 PM

No need to prepare for nuthin, no dongle touching, heck, i don't even want to see it, or hear about it to be honest...

Oh, and these don't have dongles...

If they do, they fall into a completely different category.

Jim Richards 06-20-2013 03:08 AM

Jeff, if you kept your hands on your dongle, you wouldn't have these problems. :p

Morning Jim.

This is true, although some would say I've got my hand on it often. ;)

Dongle has been located (someone was playing silly buggers with me) ;)

Jim Richards 06-20-2013 03:20 AM

Jeff, be careful who you let touch your dongle. ;)

Outback Porsche 06-20-2013 03:22 AM

Bum 5hit Poop!

This evening is not playing nice. I taking my bat and ball and I'm going home. :(

Jim Richards 06-20-2013 03:25 AM

Sounds like a good idea. I'll go home, too! Oh, wait...

GH85Carrera 06-20-2013 05:41 AM

Good morning folks.

It is really soaking in that I have to finish packing the car with all the stuff for the vacation tonight!

Today is my Friday. My vacation starts as soon as I go home today. It will start by me mowing the yard! Yea, party on.

I got the laptop bag packed, the cell phone & iPad bag packed, GPS and camera bag packed. The car wash stuff bag, the tools bag packed. I guess we will need to pack some clothes.

There is still a lot to do to get ready for a 1,100 miles drive.

Andy911sc 06-20-2013 05:45 AM

Morning everyone!

Janet if you want something nice and only have room for single din and no room for a fold out screen go with the Parrot Asteriod. It is android based, with GPS screen. I heard a lot of good reviews for it. I was thinking about it for the 911.

That unit looks nice, but I don't the unit just does not do it for me.

They have a GPS. OK, I bet my Garmin is a way better GPS that that one. It has internet. Well so does my iPhone.

I have not looked but I would love to have a head unit that is a dock for my iPhone to charge it, and to let me play my music stored on the phone or Pandora from the phone to the car.

For now I will stay with my current head unit. It plays a DVD with MP3s. 4 gigs of music on a easy to swap disc just it way simple. I put it on random and let it play.
