I have had several watches at a local jewelry store / watch repair place. My dad had a Rolex and some other watches I want to sell and they all needed some cleanup, and the Rolex needed a service.

My wife stopped by there today to check on things and just "happened" to look again at a necklace she had drooled on before. The owner of the place gave her a deal she just could not refuse.

I will say it was way less than I spent on my recent 911 engine oil leak and transmission rebuild. The necklace is not nearly as useful in my opinion. Well, let me re-phrase that. Happy wife, happy life. Yea, maybe it is useful.

Yea, that happens to me when I am at home and the wife is is lurking about.

Here at work it does not matter.

I remember once I was on the technical site. The thread came up for "Show me your best butt shot" and the wife used an accusing tone and asked what that was. I clicked on on and showed her the butt bictures of lots of 911s. I made Bevis & Buthead sounds and she rolled her eyes and walked out of the room.

Long last day of work here today. Met w/ our contractor, Pelican look_171, and discussed his bathroom designs. We're gonna expand our project with him (kitchen) to now include both bathrooms. We're quite excited about this. I did some priming on the hallways and part of the living room. I prepared Inge, the garage queen, for another multi-month nap, and we're packing up. I can't stress how much I'm looking forward to our next work-cation!

hoegaardens are nice. one of my favorite wit style beers. blanche de chambly by unibroue is better, in my opinion. you gotta find the big bottle with the cork, however. served at 50-55F. delicious.
