Naaaa, just in the "old world" :)

My co-worker took a vacation to Italy last summer. To the residents of a state that is only 100 years old the antiquity of Italy or any part of Europe is amazing. There are only a handful of buildings built before 1900 in Oklahoma City. This entire area was a prairie in the 1880s. Now the metro area is over 1000 sq miles or 258,000 Hectares.

At some point during the break my roommate had turned the heat OFF! not just down like I had it.... I've been here about 12hrs.... its just now 60 in this place.... Hope solar gain helps me out today....

A Jack Daniels Fishing Story

I went fishing this morning but after a short time I ran out of worms. Then I saw a cottonmouth with a frog in his mouth. Frogs are good bass bait.

Knowing the snake couldn’t bite me with the frog in his mouth I grabbed him right behind the head, took the frog, and put it in my bait bucket. Now the dilemma was how to release the snake without getting bit.

So, I grabbed my bottle of Jack Daniels and poured a little whiskey in its mouth. His eyes rolled back, he went limp. I released him into the lake without incident and carried on fishing using the frog.

A little later, I felt a nudge on my foot. There was that same snake with two frogs in his mouth. Life is good in the South.

Stayed up late at the dorms helping Holly revive her computer from a virus....

I hope she was properly thankful....

Haha not in that way... I'd rather not go there with her....

A) she is my lab partner and my grade can't afford her being pissed at me....
B) I can tell from spending time with her that she would be a total basket case to date...


So she helps me with chem... I fix her computer.... Fair trade....

stay clear from basket case dates, too much hassle.
A basket case in the sack... now that's a different story....
