That movie is timeless. I get as much enjoyment watching it now as I did back in '82.

Morning folks.
My wife has her iPad in her hands most of the time she is at home. With our Metro library system she can download books for free and she has read a BUNCH of books. Over the weekend the book download app quit working. She sent a technical support email to them. They replied with a simple enough set of instructions. Restart the iPad, delete the app, clear out Safari cookies & cache and do a hard restart on the iPad, reload the app and download the book. Mrs Carrera gets all tense and is convinced it will never work again and it ruined. She will NOT try the instructions on her own. I have to be there next to her and read the instructions to her step by step. She repeated it will never work and she figures her iPad will be a brick. Guess what. It works fine. Her book downloaded and life is good. I am a hero. It is weird that a very intelligent capable woman can just freak out about some very simple steps to fix a problem. |

Evening Y'all.
Well let the battle begin, I have a groundhog that I need to dispatch, it has decided it likes being close to my house, as evidenced by it's tracks in the yard. Problem is where I live I am not allowed to discharge a firearm and I don't own a bow. Looks like it is time for the cb-longs and the old Stevens .22. I really hate to have to do it but I am not going to let it undermine my house. |
So your killer cats can't take care of them?

My kitties don't go outside and this thing is at least thirty lbs

Careful, them big gophers are poisonous.
That's what we told the African guy at work that said he didn't eat pork while eating a sausage biscuit from McDonalds. |
Oi Vey!
Picked my car up today.....again.... They told me the shift issue I had was because of an air leak in the intake elbow...a clamp hadn't been tightened when they replaced the thermostat housing...They told me the fluid on the transmission pan was just residual coolant from the thermostat housing failure....They told me they tightened the clamp on the intake elbow and cleaned the residual coolant off.... I stopped 20 miles later and looked under the hood.....one of the clamps for the elbow was so loose it was freely spinning.....tighten that up, get home and put it on ramps....whadda ya know, there's still fluid on the pan... |

Caddy Shack. Booom! And be sure to play the 1812 Overture |
OK, Joe, refresh my memory:
1) Why do you still keep taking the car to the stealership? 2) Why did you ever buy a Jag? |
Morning guys,
My (provisional) shooters license arrived yesterday. I am now officially on my way to become a spoon owner/shooter! Good stuff |
