I bet that if you did a Google search you will find a way to copy the songs from the Zune to a MP3. Then it is easy to store them or convert them. Google searches will teach you how do do anything.

Porsche-poor 04-07-2011 02:19 PM

Thanks. I'll be on that tonight!!!!

RKDinOKC 04-07-2011 05:22 PM

Woo hoo the Rover lives. Guy that went out of business had put a cheap Advanced Auto Parts rebuilt alternator in. Now has a nice rebuilt Bosch alternator and everything works once again.

nynor 04-07-2011 05:27 PM

you cannot mess with the electrical systems on the rovers. period.

GH85Carrera 04-07-2011 06:30 PM

Good evening fellas.

Just a quick drive by howdy!

slodave 04-07-2011 09:05 PM

I think my flu from last week turned into a sinus infection. I've felt the same way for a few days now and things are just not getting better. After trying to kick what ever I have with natural remedies, I broke down and put myself on antibiotics. Took a nap this evening and either I've got the placebo effect working for me or the meds are working. I do feel better.

porsche4life 04-07-2011 09:52 PM

I would say my folks don't want me driving to Reno.... They just offered to buy my plane tickets for my birthday....

slodave 04-07-2011 10:00 PM

Well, there goes the surprise.

porsche4life 04-07-2011 10:01 PM

Well... Can't wait much longer to book them and not get fcked to death...

Geronimo '74 04-07-2011 10:05 PM

Well, if you're taking real antibiotics I would say the meds are working.
For a placebo effect you would need to be taking, well, a placebo... no? :)
Sometimes your body needs some help to fight an illness. You can't fight everything with grandma's remedies ;)

Sid I can understand your parents too. It is more comfortable to fly and much much safer too. (I'd fly, just to save time)

slodave 04-07-2011 10:10 PM

True, G. But if the infection is viral, antibiotics have no affect. That's why I mention placebo. Either way, I am feeling a lot better than I did earlier today. I've been so friggen' bored stuck at home. I need to get out!

Geronimo '74 04-07-2011 10:17 PM

Why do you take antibiotics when you know they won't have an effect???
That can't be right. Were you counting on a placebo effect?? Are you wearing a helmet?? (:D)
Dr Fluff must chime in, or get Sid to send you some proper meds.

If you feel your BP rising that means that THESE meds are working ;)

HEAL! HEAL! (but I want dibs on the swimsuit honey)

And did I miss Rick yesterday?

porsche4life 04-07-2011 10:19 PM

It he does have a sinus infection, then what was prescribed should do the trick... I assume prescribed by Dr Alarick?

If viral he will have to wait... Not much can be done...

porsche4life 04-07-2011 10:20 PM

I got my new climbing rope today! Its SWEEET!

Geronimo '74 04-07-2011 10:21 PM

A sinus infection can be either viral or bacterial. The symptoms I feel, lean more towards bacterial. I made a judgement call. Plus I talked with Alarick. ;)

Good morning, guys!

Geronimo '74 04-07-2011 10:48 PM

Morning Flufkus

porsche4life 04-07-2011 11:28 PM

60m of 10.1mm rope would be a bellyfull all right...

Geronimo '74 04-07-2011 11:31 PM

You have enought to wrap it 'round yer nugget and use it as a helmet.... :D

porsche4life 04-07-2011 11:32 PM

Can't very well climb on it with it wrapped up there... ;)

Geronimo '74 04-07-2011 11:33 PM

With that small head you have, 5 feet of rope will do the trick... :p

porsche4life 04-07-2011 11:37 PM

bastard.......

RKDinOKC 04-07-2011 11:52 PM

Warm salt water vinegar nose douche with a 60cc irrigation syringe always make my sinuses feel much better and heal much much quicker no matter what the irritation is viral or bacterial.

I also start eating lots and lots of garlic powder on everything when I come down with anything for the antiseptic qualities. I usually get a loaf of french bread and make garlic toast with lots of butter and garlic with a strip of mozzarella cheese to make the massive amounts of garlic go down a little better. When my sweat smells of garlic I've gotten enough in my system :)

If I'm feeling achey all over that's the white blood cells trying to fight infection. Chicken broth helps those cells concentrate at the site of the infection instead of general dispersal. Gets rid of that achey all over feeling.

I hardly ever go to the doctor for cold, flu, sinus, bug, whatever and get better in the same time as those going the doctor visit antibiotic route.

The only exception is one time I got an infection in the bone from an abscessed tooth. Took months of antibiotics to get rid of it. I had to endureoff/on sinus and eye infections cause by the bone infection until it was finally over.

slodave 04-08-2011 12:09 AM

I don't visit doctors for cold, flu, what have you. Pretty obvious what I have and not much they can do. The infection is near or in the ear and it was killing me and the minor, dull, constant headache. I need to get back to work. I don't have anyone to fall back on. I think this was a good decision on my part. I usually am not sick like this for so long. I may have been borrowing Sidney's rope if it didn't get better.

slodave 04-08-2011 01:45 AM

Rick does seem to be MIV again.

Geronimo '74 04-08-2011 02:01 AM

MIV missing in Virginia?

slodave 04-08-2011 02:02 AM

:D You got it!

Geronimo '74 04-08-2011 02:06 AM

Great minds think alike.... :)

(so you must have a great mind too, whuda thunkit? :D:D)

slodave 04-08-2011 03:19 AM

Yeah, hard to believe. ;)

Rick sighting on fb!

Geronimo '74 04-08-2011 03:45 AM

Rick is on FB??

slodave 04-08-2011 03:48 AM

So's Stijn. It's one big party. :D

Geronimo '74 04-08-2011 04:03 AM

Sounds like I'm missing out but I won't join, out of principle. :p

slodave 04-08-2011 04:03 AM

I think it's because we'll see your real name... :)

Geronimo '74 04-08-2011 04:11 AM

I would never use my real name on the interwebs. (I'm fond of my privacy)
So that whole FB thing would be pretty useless for anyone trying to locate me.
I thought you knew my name already. Sid does, I think. (and no, it's not Brent...)

slodave 04-08-2011 04:14 AM

I thought it was Blaine. :D

Geronimo '74 04-08-2011 04:28 AM

Blaine? Who dat? David Blaine the magician??
