You guys are funny. I like being back east for a change. Will most likely retire here. We usually restrain buying much furniture or making specific changes to a home that would only appeal to us or that do not bring the home's value up (at least as much as they upgrades cost)...but have not done that here. Once it gets cold again...I will probably change my tune a bit. I don't know if I could stay knowing I would have to make the 2+ hour commmute for many years if I was younger and not close to retirement or had kids at home though.

Yes! You fellas have to learn for yourselves. Girls, wimps or smart, depends on the way you look at it. I never wanted to get hurt so always followed the rules. Boys, they don't give a hoot about getting hurt. In fact, the possibility of getting hurt intrigues them. Escaping danger...

Escaping danger is one thing but when you weigh 40lbs and you want to chase an aggressive 23lb cat, it is foolhardy.
Wow can you say Rickie must be paying for the sins of a past life. The daughter broke up with the guy in Canada and is en route to Va.
I told her she had one week to get her act together and get out of my house or I am leaving. Again will someone please put the bullet right between my eyes, I will even supply the gun.

My father at Normandy. Saluting all Veterans for serving. He just came back from a trip there last week.

My stepmother and father's road trip van. They took it all around France the last couple weeks. They love that thing and have taken it all over Europe. They strap their bikes to it so they can park it at a campsite and go ride their bikes everywhere. I would love to do this when I am their age. Sidney?

scars? i got them in spades....

even my fingerprints: the gal that fingerprinted me told me that if i leave fingerprints at a crime scene, i am screwed. they wouldn't even need to match up whorls and such, just the scars.

Replaced the fuel accumulator in the 911 today. Made sure to roll the car out of the garage and into the driveway before trying to start it up afterwards. Fortunately, no leaks. Even simple tasks can be frustrating due to all that turbo plumbing. We'll see if that cures the no-warm-start problem. So far so good.

Hoo boy. One of the cats just brought home a freshly caught mouse (sans head) to eat. Mrs. Noah was screaming up a storm.

Heh heh. Like I said, we'll see if the problem's cured.

Last weekend I bled the brakes on one of the Ducks. I had gone to grab the front binders on an offramp cloverleaf and while the bike slowed down, the lever went all the way down to the handlebar.

Natch. The head's the best part.
