Mornings like this I'm glad I work from home and don't have to get out in it. |

Good Morning folks.
Fer sure cold outside this morning on the commute in. Fortunately I have a good heater in the Elky. I have to walk about 8 steps from the Elky to the the door here at work so I can tough it out. ;) As I drove south this morning within the first mile I saw a deer trot across the road going east. One mile further I saw two deer mosey across the road going west. I drive slow and careful down that road this time of year. It is mating season and the deer are out there humping and making more dang deer. In that first three miles of my commute I saw three deer and not one car. |
Richard, I don't think you need a plumber, just some catnip to get the sink unclogged.

If I turn on the water he just starts playing in it.

Don't most people expect you to have a accent? I know you don't but I love that video you posed once.

Ahah que le français est compliqué n'est-ce pas ? Personally I'm first good to speak then to write but for reading comprehension and for oral comprehension (my god this is too difficult  ) I'm not really good at |
Oh, ha ha. I guess I focused on the Korean part and I am like,"I am not Korean?" I love that video too. I don't think people know what to expect from me when they see my name. They don't know if I am female or male. And since I kept my married name, it really screws them up. So when I answer the phone and I speak in perfect English, it throws some people off. Sometimes I wonder if that is why I don't get called for jobs because they don't know if a person with that kind of name can possibly speak English well enough to do presentations in front of the CFO and CEO. I have landed every single job I have interviewed for so I am pretty confident once I get called in. I feel like people have to see me face to face. Funny how the world works. I read an article once where a guy (mechanic) named Tracy, who had years and years of experience, tried to get a new job and didn't get called for one interview. Then he tried something new, changed his first name to his middle name instead of Tracy and he landed a job and several interviews that same week. Interesting...
