No effect on my life at all except one.
I work near Brussels Airport, I enjoy the silence... For all I care, that volcano can keep at it some more.  I heard on the news that some 25.000 belgians are stuck in other countries and are trying to get back....

On the local TV news last night they had a story about a family of four from London stuck here. The came to America to see the Grand Canyon and visit some family friends. Now they are stuck at the friends house in the county waiting for a flight home. At least they are not stuck at the airport.

Several people I know stuck abroad at different locations. Instead of flying, one of them is on a buss from Portugal. What a drag!
Personally I have not been affected the least.

I'm just finishing up a term paper. I *might* have gotten carried away. It was supposed to be 4-5 pages. I'm right at 15. oooops.....

She'll completely miss the point of the freaking paper. I've been doing this a lot, she's used to it. We've had about half a dozen 1.5-2 page papers that have all ended up 3-4.
She's not the sharpest tack in the drawer, I'm slightly concerned that the paper might go a little over her head.... |

It's just a BS english class at a BS CC. Transferring to USC's Geology program for spring 2011 after I kill my cores close to home.
It's been laughable how little is expected of students. Another student barely put together 3 semi-coherent pages on why marijuana should be legalized. (yeah, I fought the urge to strangle the person) I sat down with a couple of texts I had on my shelf and knock out 15 pages on an obscure correlation between the 8th and 2nd amendment. |

Ahh.... Thats why... CC says it all.... I'd be bored to tears in a CC.... I'd be bored here if Chemistry wasn't about to kill me... Which is what they try do... Its pretty much a fact that the chem classes here are the hardest in the state b/c of the PharmD school. They try to pick off the dumb kids...
I feel sorry for all the non PharmD kids that have to take chem here.... |
