Yea, I am familiar with that feeling. When I look at my W2 I get that feeling.

I've always tried to keep my withholding so I get a refund of some kind for two reasons.
\
First and most important is that I do NOT want to have budget for an extra payment come tax time. Every paycheck is frequent enough for me.

Second is I don't feel nearly as bad about how the government spends my tax money if I am getting a refund.

Federal defaults seem to work okay, for State I have an extra few bucks withheld to keep from paying.

AAAARRRGGGGG!

My scissor jack was supposed to be delivered on Monday. I called the trucking company to arrange a lift-gate since the box is 4x4x4 feet and weighs 918 lbs. Not something I can whip into my El Camino or even load on a trailer.

They start to wine that they are busy and it will be Thursday (today) before it is delivered. I called them at 10 AM and they said they were having a computer issuer and they would call right back. At noon I called again and insisted I wanted an answer now. After talking to three people there I finally got to the smart one. She said everything is messed up. Somehow a 4x4x4 918 box is not on any truck and they don't know where it is. I can call tomorrow and maybe they will have an answer. I might get it next Monday. How hard can it be for a freight company to put a box on a truck and deliver it?

Yea, it goes to again prove my old theory. The more anticipation for a delivery the longer it takes. If it is someething you can't care less when it arrives, it will be there overnight.

When I see a product I want or need I put it in my wish list on Amazon. When I have several items that will qualify for free shipping I place an order. I ordered some Stay-bil gas treatment for my lawn mower gas which I will not need until spring. It arrived in a day. I will not need it until next month.

Sounds like Jarrod on Shipping Wars may have gotten your box.

I have no idea what that means.

I called Bendpack they are looking into it on their end. They have more stroke with a shipping company than I do.

Evening Y'all,
Haven't even started the taxes yet. oh well like I give a rats a55 about it. I always get a refund and after being out of work for a couple of months last year I expect to get a little more back than usual. Beth usually gets it anyway so pfffft who cares.
This afternoon the big boss rolls in and says that we will be working late this evening, I told him to let me know tomorrow how that worked out for him. I then proceeded to tell him that I am expected to be at work on time, not just walking through the door. I am expected to be back from lunch on time as well. I expect to walk out the door on time and if he wanted to fire me for not working beyond my scheduled ten hour day he was more then welcome to do such but I have a life and I have things to do that do NOT involve my job. He rethought his position and said he would like a few volunteers to stay over. Yeah that didn't work out so well for him. Looks like they need to have a better scheduling system. Oh well one more day and weekend time.
I'm done with that one.
Glen you gonna buy that house? You can start he Ok. version of the Mustang Ranch

Jarrod is a shipper on the supposed reality show Shipping Wars. In the show they bid on shipping jobs on U-Ship it. It's like an auction only the cient can pick a higher priced bid if he likes their profile and customer rating better. Jarrod is new and uses a short bus for his main shipping vehicle. He is always having problems and almost never on-time.

When I shipped my Rover I found an awfully lot shipping companies use this shipping job network and don't even have their own trucks or drivers.

Burp. We decided to cheat and go eat out for our anniversary dinner on night early.

Burp.

That was a good beer. I had my usual dinner at Pearl's. Burp.

Good stuff. Burp.

that was exactly what happened with the latest part i ordered for the 951. i needed to have the part yesterday and instead it was a day late, which really screwed up the repair plans.

If you ordered that same part now that you don't need it, it would be there overnight.
