Porsche Parts, 2007 Porsche GT3 997 3.6 engine For Sale

Think I could get it in the bug?

It would be easier to get a air cooled 911 engine in it. Stupid expensive still.

porsche4life 04-19-2014 07:25 PM

Id think with all the other mods necessary, might as well put in a watercooler and do it right. ;)

HHI944 04-19-2014 07:38 PM

I need a damn nap...

Rick V 04-20-2014 04:31 AM

Subie engines fit in air bugs very easily

Jim Richards 04-20-2014 05:05 AM

Morn in' Rick. SmileWavy

A Subie bug would be the hot ticket.

Rick V 04-20-2014 05:13 AM

Howdy Jim. Can you pull some strings for me and have 495 and 66 cleared out for me wed evening around 7ish?

Jim Richards 04-20-2014 05:31 AM

Unfortunately, my strings would leave you sitting in traffic for a week.

Jim Richards 04-20-2014 05:32 AM

Avoid 66 is my best advice.

Rick V 04-20-2014 05:49 AM

Yeah. Although I do like the new interchange, it actually functions well

GH85Carrera 04-20-2014 08:51 AM

Morning all.

The F1 race was interesting.

That Ricciardo/Vettel exchange was interesting. Alonso drove his heart out.

Taco

Rick V 04-20-2014 02:34 PM

Peeps, yeah they should be a food group

pete3799 04-20-2014 04:39 PM

I'm back.
Car sounds nice......no..... make that bad:cool:
Just wish I could figure out why it smells with the heater on.
I first thought maybe some of the packing peanuts they were shipped in got down inside the exchanger but we've put on 1084 miles since Fri. and it still smells although not as bad as it first did. Definitely not an oil smell ......nothing leaking on them.

Rick V 04-20-2014 04:56 PM

Glad you had a safe trip. Maybe you have something in the heater tubes in the body? My Targa had a fire in one from a mouse nest last spring

Porsche-poor 04-20-2014 05:19 PM

Another week or two and I should have mine out for spring. I hope.

pete3799 04-20-2014 05:20 PM

If there was any body living in there...... they're toast now.
Will do some investigating tomorrow.
Maybe you should come up here and borrow it.......i'm sure it'll smell better than New Joisey. :D

IS300 04-20-2014 05:34 PM

Lake Como.... awesome drive and good food..... nice people!

RKDinOKC 04-20-2014 06:29 PM

mmmmm, lightly toasted mouse poop smoked in baked paint fumes, yum.

Sounds like you need to toss in the goop outts one of those glade plug-ins.

Porsche-poor 04-20-2014 09:40 PM

This week better be a good one or I quit.
