Carpe, got ready to do a teleconference this morning and just realized California is two hours earlier not two hours later. Well, got 4 hours to kill now.

Back in the days just after I turned 21 I had a job to shoot in Daytona Beach. I was living in Montgomery, Alabama at the time and there is a one hour time difference. I was pumped to go out and see the night life in a real party town. I had adjusted my watch for the hour difference but I adjusted the wrong way. I figured it was almost midnight and was upset the clubs were shutting down. I finally saw a clock on the wall and realized my Homer Simpson moment years before Homer Simpson was ever created. I did see a lot of really drunk chicks staggering out of the bar but I never did get even one beer.
