Good morning guys.
I dumped the rain gauge this morning. In 24 hours I have had just OVER 12 inches of rain at my house. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1276607623.jpg |
Glenn, I am going to have to get a high res version of that from you sometime to print out and put up at work. The Tesla guys will love it.
|
I shot that with a Nikon D3 in RAW mode. I can get you 35 mb tiff file. Just PM me an email address and I can send you a link to a FTP site.

Evening Gents... I'm rather sad that my 944 is not in that picture....

Sid, I don't see your mom's Corolla either..... ;) Morning Gents!!! Sunny day over here!! Me like!! |
God morgon!
Yes, clear sky here too. Very nice. Too bad I am stuck in the office. |
If you look close right behind the black Boxster you can see my white El Camino. I shot the photo at a low angle to help hide it as much as possible. My 911 was almost finished that morning but not quite. I drove my Carrera the next day at the autocross.
|
If you look behind the roof of the burgundy 912.... See that gray roofline? Ya... Corolla FTW
|
Just a bump to get this back to page one.
G-man what sort of ride height do you run on your 911? I am trying to decide just where I want things. From waht I read the euro ride height is: 25.5" front 25" rear. Measured from the bottom of the center part of the fender lip to ground. |
There should be a place the factory uses to measure ride height from and not the fenders.
|
24.5 both ends, I prefer a little more rake to the front.

I went with 25 1/2 frt. and 25 rear.
|
Are you setting ride heights for looks or handling?
When I got my last 944 Turbo the front was as low as the adjustments would go. It looked really aggressive, but didn't brake worth a darn. At an autocross I raised the front up 1/2 inches to level out the car and got much much better braking. |
