Finally got them back, after a year....
That guy won't be seeing me again, he's so full of BS, it ain't even funny anymore.
He gave me some half asz discount... I couldn't even be bothered to complain anymore, I just wanted my wheels back.
Wheels turned out just fine, luckily.
But somehow I don't have that feeling of satisfaction that I should have, and that's a bit of a shame.


(EDIT: DAYUM, my lawn looks horrible! I need to set my gardener straight...)

I just got home from the DE - Tesla test drive. That thing is small, but FAST. It is a fun toy. When you hit the fun pedal it GOES! There is no shifter and no shifting. It is a endless first gear. My car at 4,000 to 6,000 RMP in first gear type of accerlation, ony it keeps going. I hit 70 is a blink. It handles nice, but I did not even get close to pushing it. For the money I would buy a new 911 Turbo and burn gasoline. I will post photos later.

Gents I'm in LA safe and sound. I still don't have a place to live but I found an apartment and put in the application... I have a few days to wait until I can get in the place. It's two blocks off the beach in Hermosa with a small 2 car garage. Roommate is a pretty cool guy. Rent is not cheap @ 1250 a month but it's got a lot of nice perks and a garage that I can pull a Porsche into. A lot of the places in Hermosa have garages that are bumper-scrapers getting in and out, but not this one.

I drove out to riverside today and test drove a 2000 986S owned by Glenn at Pelican Parts. Wonderful car. So wonderful that I called off the rest of my car search and I'm buying it. I'm heading up to Fontana on tuesday to meet him and sign it over.

This is the first internet I've had all week- I'm at a McDonalds somewhere in Torrance.

Still pissed at the guy who refurbished them tho, he's really not seeing me ever again, and I will caution everyone that I know, not to go there.

It's election day here. We HAVE to go, it is obligatory...
A damn lot of fuss about a bunch of people "leading" out country and arguing ALL the time like little children.
Many people have their belly full of all that bickering in our government.
Important decisions are not being made because they cannot come to a consensus, again and again.
Needless to say my interest and faith in politicians hovers somewhere between non existent and very very little....
Ah well, life goes on..

Not making decisions is better than making bad ones and sticking to them forever.
