I inflicted some ego wounds on another jerkoff today....people are stupid.
This scrawny dude, probably 140-150, tries to shadow me and not adjust weights. ...I have an easy 80lbs of muscle on him and I was going for muscle failure on each exercise. ....he hit muscle failure.....and crumpled to the ground

The only way if spend 3 hours in the gym is if someone chained me to something in there.

HHI944 07-18-2014 01:51 PM

Different strokes for different folks eh. My goals require not only the ability, but the willingness, to make myself suffer and keep on moving.

An hour in the gym three times a week isn't going to kill you, Sidney. Heck, even one day. And in fact, not working out is going to one day kill you. I was skinny as a rail when I was younger. That doesn't last forever.

Or even strength training at home.

Don't care what they say...it is officially the Weekend as of NOW!

Good health only prolongs death ;)

Morning all SmileWavy

Up early this morning, busy day. Off to the pathology lab for a bi-annual blood test (hypertension checkup next week). Been fasting, so I'm starving and gunna take Sharyn out and have breaky downtown after.

Then back to swap out the suspension on the tojo, and follow that up with cleaning the carpets.

Then ending the day with a Christmas in July party at a mates house.

I have a feeling there's a slow Sunday coming up.

Seriously, there's still time....
Heck, according to the Army, peak physical conditioning should be somewhere around 30 years old.

I could be convinced if it was full of redheads in yoga pants and covered with sweat but I wouldn't be working out

Ok Rick, I am figuring that is readheaded WOMEN right ;)

We should break a 117 year old record for the coldest low ever tonight. I like breaking lows in July. Not so much in January.

Thats a little scary. Glad I have my own back

GH85Carrera 07-18-2014 05:01 PM

So it looks like my wife will be traveling from cool wet Oklahoma City to hot dry Seattle Wa. Something sounds wrong with that.

GH85Carrera 07-18-2014 05:08 PM

Stijn!!

Watching the F1 practice sounds so funny. There is no FRIC allowed. No fricking way. It is fricking silly that FRIC would be stopped in the middle of the fricking season.

Flieger 07-18-2014 05:41 PM

I'm allergic to the gym. Outside activities only for me.

That type of training evolution is typically done around week 7 of BCT....there is no excuse....it's just scary.....
"Uh, Drill Sgt, I think I dropped my grenade somewhere over there" after laying his weapon on the ground, loaded, ejection port down would have gotten him 2 weeks in RTC and recycled to day 1 in my day....fark I'm getting old...

HHI944 07-18-2014 07:24 PM

The appropriate response to these kids would have been
http://www.quickmeme.com/img/3f/3f3d...f43f1df371.jpg

Followed by hours of 'corrective training'

I love the outdoors, but gators squirm a lot when you try to bench press them.
