Good Friday morning folks.

My wife said she had to give a dog & pony show to the folks at her university today. She said the problem is the horse ran from the barn and the dog has not shown up yet. I asked how good is she at tap dancing and she said she may have to change her shoes before she goes to work.

I spent a week on Christmas Island with work a few years back.

Other than the locals being a bit odd I didn't find it too unpleasant. Mind you, it was February and thus cyclone season so the weather sucked. Got up early and worked my ring out til lunch, then hit the pool and bar at the casino for the rest of the day. Spent a day driving around the Island exploring, and trying not to drive over the red crabs.

Made lots of flat red crabs.

Bought back duty free 5hit for the trouble and strife (keeping the war office happy is always a good thing).

My dad was there in the early 60s. There was not much there. I think the biggest complaint he had was the landing strip sucked. He was bringing in supplies and it was a LONG flight into our out of there over nothing but ocean.

He landed the first ever C-124 on Pago Pago.

Great, set up this morning to use Apple's FaceTime for telepresence in meetings at work. And I can use my computer, iPad, or iPhone so I can literally be anywhere with phone or internet service and still attend meetings. Now, the only reason I would actually need to go in to the work facility is to pee in a cup.

Think its kind of funny that I only live 9.4 miles from the office and they are building a new facility and moving to it that will only be 4.3 miles from my house.

Don't want to go anywhere that I might get anything that might be confused with saber toothed crotch crickets.

Joe, Love the Blackhawk Lima. Similar in performance to the Apache in regards to weight and speed, but not so much armor. Better for inserting troops in an environment that isn't friendly.

Still trying to decide on what to do for vacation. I have off the 18th to the 27th and wherever we go we will be driving. I do know Joe and our son Jacob would NOT be a good influence on each other.
