Understand there is a suspension calibration thing in the computer you can use to lower it 20mm without the module. Think the software is called Durametric.

Googled it. There are several flavors of lowering modules for the cayenne with air suspension. Most not only make the low setting lower, but the high setting higher, by about an inch. And loading 2 inches lower.

Going to wait until we see how stock works for Mom before messing with it. The 928 is too low.

I sure can (and do) sympathize with you, fint. I feel like hammered crap for 3-4 days after a CA trip. I'm just getting old. In my younger days, I would recover in a day, maybe two. Speaking of CA trips, I have two more scheduled this year, one in late Aug / early Sept. The other in mid-Nov. I need to start planning next year's work-cations pretty soon.

Mid-Nov I would attend the Formula 1 race in Austin if I could. Even have friends to stay/party with there.

A friend of mine that has been to several F1 races around the world said he prefers the Canada F1 to the COTA race in Austin. His comment was the Canada F1 race has way less of the rip off prices. He flew to Montreal and spent the same amount of time as Austin and it was cheaper and more fun. That was just one guys opinion.

Jim...yep, makes the 4:30 AM alarm feel like 1:30 AM. I seem to acclimate immediately when I go west... But it takes weeks when I come back east. Just dozed off on a high-level (4 freaking hour) conference call with the Pentagon and dropped the phone. Good thing I had it on mute.

Are you sure they would have noticed if it was not? Might just wake them up as well.

On my recent drive to California I had to make that adjustment on the first night. Arizona is on the same time zone as California right now.

It made it easier to get up at dawn. The dive back sucked because by the time I got checked into a hotel and ready to go to dinner it was 9:30.

If it was the noise of the phone that woke you up, it is a good thing you weren't on speaker and muted.

When we fly out to CA to visit my wife's family it doesn't bother me too much. We get in Sunday night and I am at work on Monday. Granted, I don't have to be to work until 8:00 in the winter time.

RKD, there will be an issue with paperwork for the shipping and you will get it late August and it will be the wrong one. Might even be a Tiguan.

I have a simple theory about any item that is shipped by any method.

The more you want it or need it, the longer it takes. If you don't care when it gets to you, it will be there overnight.

My wife ordered a snap on keyboard-cover for her iPad last week. She wants to play with her new toy and it has still not arrived. Last Saturday we were in Enid and her mom said she would like a new iPad since her iPad is a version one. My wife orderd an iPad Air, keyboard and new cables to be shipped to her moms house. The keypad for her mom's iPad showed up here yesterday. My wife clicked the wrong delivery address. Ordered on Saturday afternoon, it arrives on Monday and it useless without an iPad to use it with right now.

The cables and showed up at her moms house but she does not have a iPad to plug them into.

Ain't that the truth Glen. See my previous post about the fan on my video card.

We talked with David (Targa) about a stock for dad's 20ga shotgun. He didn't have any but pointed us in the right direction so we ordered one. Dad said no hurry just the cheapest shipping was fine. Came USPS in two days. Go figure.

The worst shipping I have seen was last xmas when I ordered computer parts to build a computer for my kid. I have to change the delivery address to our new building. They some how screwed it up and use half the old and half the new. To bad the old building is empty. I had to drive 40 minutes North and go get the stuff from the shipper.

Back in the day...order some software that let me share our expensive Agfa SCSI interface scanner over our appletalk network (That's been a very long time ago). Had it next day shipped. It kept getting delivered to random places around the United States, coast to coast. The package got enough air miles for a free trip to Hawaii. None of the numbers or zip codes or anything on the box had anything to do with where it was mis-delivered. After over a week and 5 different places they shipped another standard. The standard shipping box arrived before the next day shipment. It was a box with 2 3.5in floppy disks in it. The people at all the different delivery places signed for it even though it didn't have their name or address on it too.

Local credit union just called and the loan value of the 04 Cayenne with it's various options is $17K. Makes $11.5K a pretty good deal. No wonder they were trying really hard to upsell me on paint protection, warrantee, lo-jack, etc.
