Glen, thanks for the salve for the eyes.
That trip to the shop this year is going to be a pricey one. I wonder if anyone here has a Porsche powered Mooney? On reading through all those posts in this thread, the one that really stands out: JEFFERY!!!!! |
From what I have heard Porsche put the word out that they were buying back the Porsche engines and there are almost no Porsche powered Mooneys flying anymore.
|
That is very possible. I knew there were some issues.
I forgot earlier: To the person in front of me on the on-ramp today. If the tractor trailer in front of you is out accelerating you on the ramp, maybe you should stay in town. My boss in California had a Lancair 4P he was building. He was looking at the 650cid inverted turbo-supercharged V8 for it. Lots of ceramics in it. Normally rated at 800hp but derated to 600-650hp for that plane. 425tks cruise at 28,000 feet and 1500+ nm range. I saw the epipen picture in the random pics thread. I work with people like that. |
@ lax. :)

This moron came into the cigar bar last night and threw the bartender against a wall. (They have a personal dusagreement) I 'politely' informed him that leaving immediately might be a wise decision. He punched me...once.
|
Did you smile after he punched you? Also, I always wonder why the majority of people cannot make the wise choice? Seems the more obvious the choice the less likely they are to make it. Like in the movies, a bad guy with a full auto weapon is far less likely to hit his target than the good guy with a knife. Though the movie "Heat" wasn't too far off compared to most.
Our son wanted to buy cheese that was shaped like Mickey Mouse. After a few minutes he looks at it in the cart and says "I hope that cheese don't taste like rats." When asked to clarify he said "You know, Mickey Mouse is just a giant rat". |
Reminds me why don't go to bars.
|
Man I hope we get Jeff off of the top page real soon. I am gonna go blind yet.
|
THANK YOU! Lunch is on me next time you are in SW Wisconsin.

Wisconsin is on my list of states to get to. I will knock off all the NE states in 2016 when I go visit Pete in VT. I can knock off more states in one day up there than anywhere else. Montana is gonna be a tough one. Hopefully Porsche Parade will have a Parade in the far north someday. |
No smiling....except when he was being shoved into the back of the paddy wagon...
We had a short 'Come to Jesus' chat and he decided to sit and wait for the cops in a very calm manner. |
Good morning peoples SmileWavy

Morning Jeff,
so was that really a selfie? If it was, I am mildly shocked If it wasn't, I am mildly impressed ! lol |
Morning Azzy.
I have to confess, it wasn't me. This time... :D I could get the sock, that's pretty funny by itself. I couldn't figure out the nighty though. Maybe we're not supposed to. :D |
Evening Y'all,
Finally made it through the week, it was a little touch and go there for a few days. Tomorrow is cars and coffee, I am taking Peggy, she should fit right in. Then I get to take her to work and rebuild the front axles. They found out I was going in and asked me if I could NO, but it will only NO, your going to be NO. I think they got the hint. In other news it was a beautiful full moon rise on the way home tonight, very Pink Floyd-ish |
