Woooo! Bearings are here so I can throw the RC back together!

It is a perfect 75 degrees and sunny in SoCal, today. Gorgeous. Absolutely gorgeous. And while I missed it while getting ready for work, a lot of FB friends posted about the beautiful red sky sunrise we had, too. None of that "red sky in morning, sailors take warning" garbage. Rode a Duc to work like a lane-splittin' mofo this morning, and then while commuting between offices in the middle of the day, got to enjoy the perfect weather.

Of course, it was also super-foggy yesterday morning. I made the mistake of riding into work. I think visibility was about 50 feet (and even less so after my faceshield opacified with mist on one side and fog on the inside) for my 4.5 mile commute. But it was back to perfect weather by the time I rode home in the afternoon.

Evening Y'all,
Had an interesting morning. We got up and I couldn't find the little kitty, and the kitchen looked like someone had slaughtered a hog in there.
Yesterday he was all blocked up so we gave him a few drops of olive oil and yeah it worked great, he also blew out his mouth (issues with medication he is no longer on) and there was blood everywhere.
He is doing much better tonight but he doesn't seem to want to eat, this is going to suck all over again.

Rick, so sad to hear that the kitty was unwell again.

I watched a little doco on Tucson Arizona this morning on the teev, it was talking about the poor economic times down there in Tucson, they also hit up a few trailer parks and interviewed the "residents", wow, hope that is not an indication of what Tucson is really like :O

Like any big city there are bad areas, and Tucson is not exempt. There are plenty of opportunities for someone willing to put in the sweatequity.
My area of specialty seems to be lacking out west, I have no idea why. I received phone calls and emails from almost every western state, and most of it was by the word of mouth grapevine. It would be easy street for me..................one day, just not today

actually, it added approximately 70HP.

Apparently a lock pin wound up inside the RC motor.....pretty sure it's toast

Now that's what I want to hear! :)

A boring day at the W place, followed by 9 holes of golf, then a squillion and one froffies at the 19th hole, and I'm ready to molest anything with legs (lookout Sharyn.......or the dog) :)

Oh yeah, I won a $50 gift card at the local hardware store -woohoo!
