We had another lady that had a nice photo of herself and her husband. They were both mid 70s or so. She wanted me to remove all of her wrinkles and age spots in the photo. It took a lot of work. In the end I bet all her grand kids wonder who the lady was standing next to grandpa. It sure did not look like her anymore.

Did the wrinkle removal thing on a photo for an aunt. She loved it.

Brother was a food broker in the 80's. He dressed like Herb Tarlick on WKRP in Cincinnati. My other brother and went to help him move and when we opened the closet I said, "Wow, a veritable rainbow!" My other brother about hurt himself laughing.

Back in the days when I was a newspaper photographer I spent a lot of time at the Alabama State legislature. They had always been relaxed about a dress code for the floor of either floor of congress. Then one new Senator decided anyone on the floor of the Senate or the House should be required to wear a coat and tie. None of the reporters or photographers were thrilled.

They all got together and brought in a ton of the ugliest ties and coats possible. It made Herb Tarlick look tame. I wish I had a Herb Tarlick sport coat and pants now. Every year at Porsche Parade for the Concours banquet they ask for nice business or formal attire. Some folks put on the black tie bit. I am on my dang vacation. I will put on slacks and a shirt with a collar but that is as dressed up as I am going to get.

I would love to have some wild clashing bright suit to wear. I am not going to spend any money to buy one so it will never happen.

Those suits probably cost a pretty penny now at those hipster used clothing shops.

Wear something like that now and you better have a strong pimp hand.

Anyway, a older lady came in and handed me a 4x6 snapshot of a cruise ship in port. She then asked me if I could use or digital magic and flip the ship so she could see the name of the ship on the other side. I stood there is stunned silence for 30 seconds trying to come up with some sort of answer that was not something like "are you freaking stupid or on drugs"?

Should have told her you could have, but somebody rubbed the developer off the backside.

Mrs Saucy's b-day today too! Bi-products of baby-making practice gone too far in the late summer months.

Happy birthday to Mrs Saucy

Holy moly, 2 freeking degrees this morning and winters still a month away.

FIL just called to tell me he bought another Camaro. 84 with a 400 smallblock in it.
Going over tomorrow to check it out.

I've known him for 16 years and he has never shown an interest in hot rods so this is cool.

Noah930 04-30-2015 06:46 PM

It's only money. There ate times I need to keep trying to convince myself of that. Until then I will finish off this bottle of tequila, which will spare one of my cats its life.

Noah930 04-30-2015 06:47 PM

Good thing he's got 9 of them, as I think he's down to about 5 of them, now.

He retired out of GM 6-7 years ago and spends his time buying storage units and stuff at auctions. He has a huge collection of guns. I have NO idea what they are except for the 44Magnum just like in Dirty Harry. Cool as heck but I don't know you could actually carry it as a duty weapon.

Course, I ain't Clint Eastwood.:(

Glen, you all partied out? They gonna have free Earl's BBQ at an open house at that vets in the new building next to the corner beer store Saturday from noon to 2. Invite says no pets.

I can often work up the energy to attend a party with free good BBQ. Especially a party just a few blocks from my house.

Time to face the cold night air and watch the missus run around the netball court (unofficial cheer squad duties).

Oh Haha 05-01-2015 04:24 AM

At least they'll be warmer running around than me sitting here on the sidelines.
