No Friday night party time for Sid.
At 8 AM you will not need AC. I love the temperature outside in the mornings this time of year.

I won't be driving the 944.... It has not been sufficiently flogged since it stranded me... I need more time with it...

Whooo Hooo Friday night in the big town!
Let's see, tonight is LAUNDRY night. We have a movie to watch that we recorded from HBO. In bed by 10:30 as usual. I may have to find a project in the garage to work on this weekend. Should I rebuild the steering column on the El Camino or the pedal cluster on the 911 or think up something way easier?

Wow, 6 in the morning, just got home...
The Latvian women I saw, hot... Every single one of them, no exception, awesome bodies, dressed up, made up, hot, hot, hot. But they look like cheap skanks to me..... Can you believe it?..... Just the type I am running away from... Bachelor weekend in Riga, what a time to be wanting class and style...... I must be drunk or something. Last edited by Geronimo '74; 08-27-2010 at 08:24 PM.. |

Friday night we watched the F-1 Practice and this morning we watched the qualifying. With the big TV & HD broadcast it is cool to actually see the flat spots show up on a tire when a driver locks up the tires. Tomorrow is the Belgian GP!
The ALMS race is about to start. I may not have time to play much in the garage after all. Too much racing to watch!

hey, guys. just checking in.
has anyone else had a problem finding a BOV at the local auto parts/dealerships? most of them don't even know what i am talking about, even though i use the terms "blow off valve", "turbo diverter valve", "turbo cut-off valve", "turbo bypass valve", etc. then, i get a guy at the local VW dealership that does know what i am talking about, but he can't cross reference a bosch part number (WTF!!!) and when he finds the part, it is special order. are you KIDDING ME! every goddam turbo charged VW/AUDI uses one of these parts!!!!! JCOPS!!!!

yeah, well, i wanted it today. that said, the VW guys have to order it. i'll call the porsche dealership on monday. if they are as bad, i'll order the $108 part from pelican, for sure. there is no way i am going to "special order" a part like this from anywhere else.
