I tend to agree. There is not really anything worth going to see right now.

We need to work on our SoCal trip timing. We won't be there until early July.

You need to just get off your arse and move there!

Well then get on it!

Followed a kid in to work that was driving a mid to late 90s Grand Prix. I think he had taken the shocks off the way it was porpoising and bouncing, sometimes violently. There are a couple of places when we got to town that I am sure he bottomed the suspension on a dip that was minor for other cars. On the highway it never settled down and in town it would oscillate for several seconds after each bump. Except the one time he bottomed so hard it fully extended the rear suspension hard on the rebound.

Porsche-poor 06-12-2015 10:28 AM

what was he thinking? shocks are there for a reason.

Jim Richards 06-12-2015 10:30 AM

Meh. Just think of the weight he was saving. His lap times will be incredible. ;)

Porsche-poor 06-12-2015 10:33 AM

from the sounds of it he needs to be on sea sickness pills.

Since I got this Kodi/TVMC setup, think I am going to end up watching movies I wouldn't normally watch.

GH85Carrera 06-12-2015 10:49 AM

So the midget porn movies are new?

I had heard is was a quasi reboot of the original but decent. Thought about asking our daughter if she wanted to see it. I am sure our son would but I don't think he is ready for it at 5. He loves dinosaurs and explosions. If someone made a napalm shooting dinosaur commando as an enemy for the Hulk it would be his perfect movie. Sounded like Godzilla to me.

I don't know of any "great" movies that are out now or recently.

5 is probably a bit young...but, there's not a lot of gore.

Thinking about it, I believe they actually put a lot of effort into making friendly to younger children. There's no nudity, gratuitous sexuality and rather minimal obscenity.

flipper35 06-12-2015 12:48 PM

The original had the gorier stuff off screen but there was the whole lawyer off the porcelain thrown part and the severed arm that I don't think he is ready for. Good to know this one is along the same lines. Sometimes you just go see a movie for some excitement and entertainment.

HHI944 06-12-2015 01:29 PM

Plus, Bryce Dallas Howard is pretty easy on the eyes.

RKDinOKC 06-12-2015 01:33 PM

Midget porn? Thought we were discussing Jurassic World, not Jiztastic World!

If Barney isn't in it, it's probably not safe for children under 7. If he is, it's probably not safe for anyone over 7.

Watched some newer movies...

ex machina... meh, female robot nudidity and a poor ending.
Mad Max, Fury Road...okay if you like Mad Max road attack scenes. Lots of road rage gore. No pets, ie dogs or monkeys.
Chappie...okay, but glad I didn't spend any money to watch it. Robocop violence.

Evening Y'all,
I am so glad this week is over, time to decompress. I have a rather interesting sunday on tap but for the most pert, Rickie is just gonna chill (on the tractor for a bit)

Porsche-poor 06-12-2015 03:16 PM

Evening Rick. I plan to go home and finish the install and find me a sucker to sit in the car...

GH85Carrera 06-12-2015 08:01 PM

Tomorrow the local Porsche dealer is having a Lemans watch party at the showroom. Free food and drinks. I am sure there will be a few Porsches on display. It should be fun. It is from 10:00 to 5:00.

Outback Porsche 06-12-2015 11:07 PM

Bum 5hit poop! My bloody WDTV box has 5hit itself. :(
