morning all. this computer feels like I do sleepless, cranky and slow.

Well, the guy I looked at the Cayenne for took too long to make up his mind. He waited till today to call to make the deal and it sold first thing this morning. If you are looking at a car that is a good deal, you gotta move.

It's even better than a paypal down payment evidentially. Was trying to buy a Titanium Edition Red Cayenne S, made the deal and paypaled the guy a $5,000 downpayment. Told him I would call to make arrangement to come get it that weekend. It was in Iowa and I was making arrangements for a nearby friend to go get it, the guy wanted it "Out of his driveway" as quickly as possible.

Try Friday afternoon, and all day Saturday to get a hold of him to have my friend go give him the balance and pick up the car that Saturday. No answers and doesn't return emails. Finally hear from him on Monday and he sold the car to someone that Saturday afternoon. I assume he got more money than our deal. At least he gave me my down payment back. I was still kinda pissed off though.

I could start in on the Iowa jokes, but there are people I like in Iowa and I do happen to work there.

We got to the field last night and they started one game and canceled all the rest. Rick weather today. 90s and sticky. 90s and sticky with thunderstorms tomorrow. It has been hot and wet enough this year the corn is head high by the 4th of July.

My wife wanted to watch Big Hero 6 Wednesday night. We started it about midnight. I think I might be getting old. I have a hard time staying up that late on a work night. OK, staying up late is easy, getting out of bed the next morning is hard.

I turn into a pumpkin or zombie after 10:30. I would much rather get up at 6:00 AM and get going on the day than stay up late at night.
