my lab is 8 and already gives m the "get off my lawn" look when I suggest a walk

Well the 09 Cayenne GTS was spotless, and drove well. Couldn't find anything wrong with it. Bit more power than my 04 S and a bit sportier handling too. Especially with the Sport button pressed. It was owned by a local money is no object doctor that took it to the dealership for every little thing it's whole 75K miles life.

GH85Carrera 07-16-2015 12:10 PM

That sounds sweet. I bet it is pricey.

porsche4life 07-16-2015 12:16 PM

In the 30-40k range if I had to guess.... I really wanted one, but opted for something newer, less complex, and with a warranty.....

RKDinOKC 07-16-2015 12:18 PM

$31K and some change is the asking price. They haven't had it very long.

Perfect time to buy one:)

I could Google this but I'm guessing: True market has got to be high 20's on an '09 GTS.

Reasoning based off BIL's recent escapades with a dealer kept '11 Cayenne S with 53k, dealer would price it mid 30s, private party is low 30s.

It is just amazing to me the demand for the Macan. They can't even keep them in stock. I sat in one at Parade and we looked it over. $70K just ain't gonna happen with us.

porsche4life 07-16-2015 12:25 PM

I like the Macan... I'll like it a whole lot more used for 30k...

911SauCy 07-16-2015 12:28 PM

I bought my '06 Cayenne just right, $7,500. Traded it in 9 months later even better, $13,500.

RKDinOKC 07-16-2015 12:28 PM

Still pretty happy with my 04 Cayenne S with air suspension I got for $10K.
Did have to replace the water pump at 120K miles though.

GH85Carrera 07-16-2015 12:35 PM

Even after 159,000 miles and 30 years the water pump on my 911 has never been replaced. It has never leaked. Same thing with the power steering and ABS & Airbags!.

RKDinOKC 07-16-2015 12:39 PM

Knew I guy that took his 914 to the dealer for some service. His wife picked it up. He was very upset because the ticket she paid for was to replace the radiator.

RKDinOKC 07-16-2015 02:34 PM

Welp, just looked at weather forcast. high 90's then just over 100 for the next 2 weeks, then in the high 90's till the end of August.

Porsche-poor 07-16-2015 02:46 PM

back to normal then?

GH85Carrera 07-16-2015 03:04 PM

Pretty much normal weather for a while.

We are still below average on the temperature and WAY WAY WAY above normal on rainfall. They are predicting a wet fall and winter.

Porsche-poor 07-16-2015 03:05 PM

you just might need to move here.

Talked to the shop that has my 928. They only have one mechanic. The others quit coming in because it's just too hot to go to work?

I wonder if it is too hot to pay their bills? How does someone afford to just stop coming to work?
